It Began One Day in August 1972

I don't remember the exact day....I wish I did.

But that one day, I met my future husband.  I went home and told my cousin.  I am sure she thought I was crazy....but I knew.

And in September, he FINALLY asked me out.

From that day on, for any reason, for no reason and through out all the years.....he would bring me flowers.

We were in Bible college at the time, so of course, mostly, it would be a single flower.  Many times, they would be on the seat of my car.

My hubby has never been good at waiting with a gift.  He just can't stand it.  So even though our anniversary isn't until Sunday.....

This is the flower he brought me today.....

40 long stem roses.....and arranged!  He rarely does that!  Oh, how do you capture the beauty of 40 roses.....I am so blessed!  God has been so good to me, and many of those times, through the love of my husband.
