Happy Memorial Day Blogland. What a wonderful day to remember all the sacrifices made so that we may live free! I went through some old pictures and pulled a few to post for today.....

This teddy bear is a favorite of mine with its paper hat!

One nation, under God!

I hope you all have a fantastic day. Take time to remember....and enjoy that sweet watermelon!

The Wonderful Sound of Water

Meet anyone who has lived in AZ any length of time and they will tell you of their NEED for water. We want to see it, smell it, hear it. When we get a rainstorm, people open their doors or stand outside, just to hear the sound. Hey, if we get desperate enough, running the tub water can be exhilerating!!
Since I was born in Michigan with all its beautiful lakes...I really miss water. When I was shopping for a gift a few weeks ago I saw this gorgeous thing....well, you KNOW I had to have it.
Water and teacups all put together......hmmm, a bit of nervana!!!

Now, being the humble person that I am (!!!) I must say, I am quite please with these pictures.

I will be linking to Cindy's Romantic Home for Show and Tell and Laurie's Favorite Things...

Oh and by the way.....I see I am NOT the only one without ooomph.....I think I could do a linky to I Lost my Ooomph would be a success!!

Some one Took my Ooomph!

I don't know who has it, but could I have it back please?

I see all the beautiful patriotic tables....and I have all the "stuff"....but I just don't have the ooomph, as my grandma used to say, to put it out.

I told my hubby the other day, I don't have anything more to blog hoo, woe is me.

I am sure I will find something! But really, if any of you see my ooomph....tell it to go home to Ceekay!

More Sweet Tweets!

We have lived at our home almost four years but this year is the first for seeing so many baby birds. This pigeon is gone now, but it hatched while I was gone.....

This one is just sitting on my table. They are so sweet to look at, but I must admit, they are leaving a cleaning job for me out front!! I think they are just about done hanging around, but it sure was a delight seeing them so close!
We had a wonderful Sunday visiting with my son and a friend of his. Had lunch at Mimi's and then came home to love on Bentley Boy. Hope your Sunday was good also!!

The B & B Part 1

I will warn you now...there are a lot of pictures. It is hard NOT to show some. Today I will show you some of the B & B we stayed at in Tucson. If you didn't get a chance to see the Tea Room, scroll to the previous post...

The front of the Bed and Breakfast.

Beautiful foundtain in the courtyard.

Back of the B & B.

The walkway in the courtyard.

Path to the main house from our Carriage house room.

I am standing by the wooden gate door to get out of the courtyard.

This is inside the main house.

I am in the sunroom of the main house.

This is where we sat for breakfast. We were the only guests there that day.

The owner had lovely antiques thru out the main house.

The light poles on the street by the B & B.

One of the many birdhouses in the courtyard.

Here is that gorgeous door we had to use to come in and out.

This was an archway leading to the grassy part of the courtyard.

We just had to play around that big wooden door!!

More next time!

I am back!

from a Girlfriends Getaway! My friend Candy and I went to Tucson. I have lived in AZ 15 years and had never been there. I had heard of this Tearoom that I wanted to give it a try. It was fantastic!

We got to pick out our cups.

Some of the stained glass windows around the room.

Aren't these the sweetest individual teapots?

The silver didn't that!

This was the little gift beautiful, cute....but wow! Take out a loan!!

We have this tearoom a 10! Loved it. If you get to Tucson you should definately try it....but my trip isn't over. Tune in again to see the B&B we stayed at!
