A July Project

I KNOW, you don't want to hear it....we are ALL HOT!  We are all thinking of cooler weather...but I must be getting cabin fever, because the last few days...I have been on a creative kick.
A friend from church gave me a silver piece that was beyond usage for it's intended use.  So I sprayed painted it ORB and made a floral arrangement - Marty style!
Do you know what it was?

I just had to tuck in some lace!

It is a old butter dish with a rotating lid!

I only used what I had in house...but I think it turned out pretty good...for someone who really doesn't know what she is doing!!

Joining Show off Your Cottage Monday at The House in the Roses and Marty for Tabletop Tuesday..
Also joining Kim for Wow Us Wednesdays and Debra for Vintage Inspiration Fridays and Home Sweet Home.

CK, I love it. It is gorgeous. Your arrangement is beautiful, and the lace is such a great touch. What a great use for a butter dish. Love it. Yes, it is hot and our A/C went out. After a bazillion dollars we have it up and running again. Thank the Lord. Hugs, Marty

Hi Ceekay,
For someone who doesn't know what she's doing, you did FANTASTIC. I think you know more than you give yourself credit. It's great when you don't have to run out and buy.
p.s. D.I. stands for Deseret Industries. It's a donated charity store (similar to Salvation Army) owned by the LDS church.

I have seen so many people using lace lately and yours is beautiful Ceekay. I have fallen in love with lace all over again, and actually I don't really have any in my house. I need to go find some...
