Starting to say Goodbye to Christmas

I started....taking all my beautiful decor down.  It always makes me sad.  Like saying goodbye to an old friend.

But I did want to show a few things to you today....

The other day I forgot to show the darling ice skates I found at Michaels.  They fit perfectly with my little skis!

Ok, take a breath here, because I was a slobbering mess when my friend gave me this for Christmas

Not only did she give me an old wooden shabby window....

She printed clear pictures to go on it.  All are pictures from my trips with her, the one with hubby was from the Queen Mary.

Can you LOVE it!

I was so blessed this year with fabulous thoughtful gifts.

Although we don't have snow in the Phoenix area, we like to pretend it is a winter wonderland.  I always put out my whites this time of year.

A nod to a New Year!

Dollar Tree Houses I sprayed white and glittered.  Someone on blogland told me about it, but I can't remember....sorry.....

Little white trees and glittered white sprigs....with feathers on a tiered white stand.

And of course, my beloved pinecones....Those are candles in the mercury candlesticks....I never light them.

I am far from finished, but I want to still enjoy my tree for a day or so.....

Happy New Year my dear blogging friends.  Be safe!

Joyfully,

Ceekay

I'm starting to say goodbye to Christmas today, too! I felt sad as I took the decorations off the tree this morning. Your window is fabulous! A wonderful gift from a special friend. And I love your New Year's/Winter decorations. Have a wonderful, happy - and healthy - New Year, dear friend. Sending wishes for the best year ever!

Hi Ceekay, Hoping your Christmas was filled with joy and lots of memories. I love seeing your home; we packed up all our Christmas decorations-except for some snowmen I'm leaving out until spring is knocking at our door. It is cold here today my friend, so we are staying in where it's warm.
Happy New Year, may it be filled with health and happiness.
Hugs, Noreen

Ola! :)

I will start taking our Christmas down Saturday. I have to work this week, so that's the soonest I can get to it. I love having it up anyway. So that's okay.

We're going to Flemings for dinner tomorrow night!
I always think of you when we go to our favorite place. :)

I hope you have a wonderful New Year!!
See you soon!

Cee Kay,
Great Christmas Decor!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! You asked where I store everything...
I have my attic floored so the majority of the decorations for all Holidays go up there but we do also rent a storage shed where the outside and bigger Holiday decorations are stored along with a lot of other things!!

Happy New Year to you and your family!!

Hugs,
Deb

Ceekay, it's a beautiful, thoughtful gift. I also love what you did with the Dollar Store houses! I love the skis and skates. I always wait until January 6th to take my things down. xoox

Ceekay, those skates are the perfect touch for your winter theme. I believe I would leave those out and enjoy them along with the skis. We have pretend snow in Florida, though I think it snowed once in a forty year period! ;-)

Love to you and yours and a very Happy New Year!

I am so glad you had such a wonderful Christmas, Ceekay! We traveled across the country to VA to spend the holiday with our son and family. We had a great time sightseeing all the way there and part way home until we got "iced in" in Abilene, TX. We have been here for 3 days and are very anxious to get home. Then I can have all the "fun" of putting Christmas decorations away....lol!

I hope this is a wonderful year for you!

Lovin' all your winter changes, Ceekay!
The glittered house is darling & I must go check out Dollar Tree to see if they still have some.
That snow that you're missing in AZ ain't all its cracked up to be, let me tell ya'. We're supposed to get some today & it is going to get REALLY cold, too. Brrrr! I'd rather be in AZ.

Hugs,
Rett

Everything looks just beautiful, C.
My mother always said that having a candle in the house that had never been lit was very bad luck...so, when I get a candle, I light it for just a few seconds and then blow it out if I don't want to burn it. I am not really superstitious .....well......maybe a tiny bit. hahhaa....
