But then, I open the boxes and I say, Oh, look how cute, or pretty, or whatever......
BUT NO CEEKAY! This house is only soooooo big. (Besides the fact that my husband says he is getting too old to be lugging this stuff back and forth!)
Wish me luck! This is what I will be working on this week around Drs appts!!

I do the same thing. :) Of course I do only have two tubs....Even if its out of date I think "Oh I could transform it with paint, etc" Nothing gets tossed. Sigh.

Ceekay...I say put out all of those things that hold a special place in your heart...every little one!! Last year I played hardball and didn't even look in my bins, I just added some natural things from here and there. It was a bit different for me and an easy clean up, but I know that it's the memories that count. This year will be different!!

I may have that much stuff as well. I have my scarecrow collection, cutesy Halloween stuff, pumpkins, Thanksgiving turkeys, cornucopias, etc.!! I'll do a little at a time, saving Thanksgiving for last.

You and I are going to be doing the same exact thing is seems. I do the same...open a carton and say.."ohhh..how sweet." This year..if I don't use it..I will lose it. I am really determined.
I am just going to go ahead and put out Halloween things. It's just too much work to dig through it all again.

I do most sincerely wish you all the best with this chore not to mention the doctor appointments. Maybe you can add an autumn tea party to the line-up and require that everyone take something home! =D

Hehehe. The story of my life! :) I am always carrying stuff up and down the stairs. It is crazy how much we can accumulate. You can do it! :)
Ha! I seriously need to destash some of my holiday decor too... I only took out about half of what I have boxed up for display this year! I do the same for every holiday it seems.
I have the same problem with some stuff. I want to keep it all just in case I may use it one day even if I don't use it at one time. I just cleaned out some holiday stuff last year and will be taking it to a consignment store to sell. It felt good to clean it out even though I still liked it.
Ceekay, I know what you mean. Luckily our daughter has a new house too so I can give her alot of my stuff and she LOVES getting it! I am anxious to see what you do decorate:) XO
