Did you think I went away?

I did!

Hubby and I decided to go up to our beloved Payson.  We are getting pretty good at getting things together and taking off.  Oh, it was gorgeous up there....cool...about 70 degrees.  Just a slight breeze.  We enjoyed it so much!

I took just a few pics that I thought you might enjoy......

Of course, on Saturday we went Garage Saleing.  One of the sales was decorated with Charlie Brown for the harvest!

This was a home by the little airport....I made hubs turn around so I could get the shot!

 

I wanted to show you the page in the Payson Roundup....that shows the map to all the garage sales.  We didn't find much but it is always fun seeing what people have.....

I am flipping out over this picture.  I wanted to show the start of the leaves changing....but look at the sweet steeple!  I couldn't believe how pretty it is with my little point and shoot that is literally falling apart!

Seriously???

My hubs and I went to the storage unit and got all my Fall stuff.  Ok...now seriously, I have got to be brutal.....some of this has GOT to GO!

Oh Lord help me!

But then, I open the boxes and I say, Oh, look how cute, or pretty, or whatever......

BUT NO CEEKAY!  This house is only soooooo big. (Besides the fact that my husband says he is getting too old to be lugging this stuff back and forth!)

Wish me luck!  This is what I will be working on this week around Drs appts!!

Saturday's Estate Sale Finds

Not much today.....but I did find a couple things......cuz you KNOW I NEED them!

This Aladin teapot for $1.00.  It does have a small repair....but oh yes, it was coming home with me...

And the Autumn Leaf pattern mixing bowl.....2.50.

I took some items this week to a consignment shop and I was so excited that I found these hidden in a closet shelf...

My Uncle Arnold had given them to me years ago....73 is our wedding year and of course, I am from Michigan!!.....I am doing something  with them....you will see soon.  I KNEW they were someplace.

Saturday Estate Sale Finds

There were 5 sales on our side of town today.  We hit them all, but of course, it is the last day, so most of it is sold.  That is fine because we really don't need anything that bad.  Everything is usually 50% off.

I did find this cute magnifying glass.  It cleaned up nicely....and the end screws off and there is an eyeglass screwdriver.  $1.00

Then I saw this sweet thing.  I passed it up because it was more than I like to spend...but then my husband said, you better get it if you want it.  So I went back and got it.

 I am glad now I spent the $10.00.  I probably will find more now for less, but I really like it!

Bringing my camera collection to 4!

Dish Out!

I know these have been all over Pinterest.  And, no, I didn't make it....but I saw it, grabbed it, and bought it!  I think it is so stinkin' cute!

I am adding that this is a plate flower.....some  of you didn't get it.  It is a plate, a bowl, and a cup.  No it doesn't light up.

NEVER, EVER!

The rainy day...

turned out to be so much fun.  Our neighbors said, let's go get a Chicago dog!  Don't have to ask me twice!

Then we went to a consignment store.  I found a treat....my friend laughed, cuz I was like, uh, oh, I gotta, love it!!!

Some blogger just showed a mini piano stool that I loved....remind me who you are!!   Well, this isn't that,  but I thought it was so cute.

And well, all you people and your Fall.....I decided to play!  Lace, burlap, old bowl, and these sweet acorns from Kirkland.

We ended the day with an ice cream.    What fun!  Rain, rain, come again another day!!

My hubby keeps wandering.....looking outside......it is cooler, but humid.   Hope you are having a great Sunday!

I Must have Missed...

the Hob Lob summer clearances while I was ill.  But yesterday after my doctor's visit, we stopped at the Scottsdale store.  Well, no clearance, but clocks were 50 percent off.  I have been wanting one for our black bathroom.

I was tickled to find one...and it was $10.00.  It looks so cute.

 My hubby also finally got my vintage soap dispenser hung....

I think is one of my favorite vintage things.

I am happy to say that I am getting stronger.....and able to do a couple of things.  Still have shakey hands and voice is strained, but that is getting better too.

Now, if we could just get some cooler weather!  110 degrees today.....I am OVER it!!

A Little Tweak!

When we moved into this home almost a year and half ago, a neighbor was getting rid of a shelf.  I needed something for our bathroom and I made it work.

But everything else in there is black.  This weekend Tarjay had a shelf for $18.00 and I told my hubby, I want that!  He put it together for me and I love it so much better.....
