Tabletop Tuesday Early

Since I will be in the chemo chair this Tuesday and I have other doctor appts. Monday, I am stretching it a bit and posting my Tabletop Tuesday today. This is a wonderful meme hosted by Marty at A Stroll Thru Life. My pictures are of my spring display on my hutch in the living room.

This picture was painted for me by my dear friend Kathy at Mimi's Garden.

Yep, those are the famous Dollar Tree birds...I have seen them painted, glittered...mine are just as they were bought.

This little bird came from Cindy at Applestone Cottage when she came for an AZ luncheon.

This little resin birdhouse was a gift from my daughter last year....

My Teal spring tag from Karen at Some Days are Diamonds.

Cracker Barrel birdie from a couple of years ago in my favorite cloche.

Morning lady, what a thrill to log on and see you here. I will have you in prayer for Tuesday.
Now you know how much I love your house and this chest is so pretty in your entry. All of your cloches are my favorites. I especially love that teeny tiny one with the egg. All of your nests are so pretty, and what a fabulous idea to put the birds on top of candlesticks. Beautiful vignette in such a pretty room. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty

Good Morning CeeKay Sweetie...
Beautiful post, everything looks so beautiful. I love it.

The Dollar Tree birds look so elegant perched on the candle sticks. I just love our little birds from Cindy. Your blue one sure came to life didn't he?

I love the way you have your cloche's scattered about and such beautiful Spring amongst them. The tag from Karen looks gorgeous on your cloche. Thank you for sharing sweetie.

I will be praying for good appointments tomorrow and a good treatment on Tuesday (as good as can be), but no reactions from the drugs that is what we are praying for. Please keep me posted. I am holding you up in prayer sweetie.

I will be leaving early Friday and then will be back on Sat. April 24th. I will check on you when I return.

Many hugs CeeKay and much, much love...Sherry

Ceekay,

It is definitely spring at your house. I love how you have everything arranged. That little blue bird is just the sweetest thing. You've inspired me to do a little decorating on my buffet. I'm going to collect a few of my birds around the house.

Stay strong girl!

Good morning my dear friend.
I agree with everything Sweet Sherry said. Lots of prayers for good days, FABULOUS treatments, (and you know what I mean by that), and no reactions at all to the drugs.
I love my little bird from Cindy as well. She is just too sweet. I just loved meeting with all of you again - how fun is it that I am allowed this opportunity to be part of the AZ Blogger's group and I come from California!
Love your entry - course, I love every flippin' square inch of your home. The next time you have the energy to get on a ladder - while Dear Sweet Hubbie IS HOME WITH YOU - take pictures of the "window" above the tv. That space is just fabulous and I know everyone would want to see it. And if I'm having an "over 50" moment and you've already posted it and I've forgotten, just post it again, cause if I've forgotten, chances are - some others have as well. (hehehe)
Lots of hugs and prayers!
Karen

Oh...somehow I have missed (or forgotten--who knows with my brain!) the fact that you have cancer... I just said a prayer for you. I have been reading a really good book this week called, :"Anti Cancer A new Way of Life". It is written by David Servan-Schreiber, MD, PhD. It has been so interesting. He is a researcher at University of Pittisburgh (sp?) and he had brain cancer and when it returned a second time he decided to look into what he could do for himself to help inhibit the growth of his cancer (along with the standard treatment). In the book he explains what makes "cancer cells thrive and what inhibits them and offers empowering stratagies to prevent their growth". He is so interesting and gives list of foods etc that have been very effective in inhibiting the growth of existing cancers, along with other things that really help our bodies to fight it. I have just reached the age where my mom was when she got cancer and I have my mamogram in about a month. I hope to put this book to use!

Love the birds on your table!!
