My Grandpa was a Coal Miner

in PA.  So what is a coal miner's granddaughter supposed to do??

Interesting....but for me?  Uh, that would be a NO!

Ceekay! Oh, bless your granddaddy's heart! That looks like such a scarey job and dangerous too! You look wonderful! Hope you're doing well.
Be a sweetie,

Hi Cee-Kay
yes...it's all interesting.
though, I don't do confined spaces too much. :)
But getting a sense of your heritage? I'm all for that.

Thats awesome! I would love to visit a coal mine someday. My husband has worked in the coal industry for 30 years ~ I am thankful for those miners who work so hard!! : )

My heart always goes out to coalminers and their families. A job that needed to be done but so dangerous and dirty. And not healthy at all. Thanks to your grandpa for helping provide coal for people who needed it. Thanks to those who still do.

I'm thinking it must have been hard work. It really must have been interesting to walk a mile in your grandfather's shoes. Thanks so much for stopping by!
