Sherry at No Minimalist Here talked about her first project of the year and I commented that I haven't done one yet....but that isn't exactly correct.
This was a simple project but one I have wanted for months.....

My grandma's Springerle cookie rolling pin!
I added to my rolling pin display holder!! And I love it. I really would like a few more....cuz, Lord knows I have more rolling pins! But I will have to find them on Ebay again!
Makes me Smile!!!

That is so awesome, love that metal holder with the heart on top (I'm a sucker for hearts :) and your grandmother's rolling pin is amazing, and what a treasure knowing it belonged to her. Looks like a perfect first project of the year to me!

He has always been one of my favorites, too, and The River Wild was his very best, I think.

Hi Ceekay, LOVE your rolling pin collection!! I use to have a small collection but a few years ago decided to change things up a bit! I so enjoy seeing what people collect....I just left Cynthia who collects toy sewing machines...so nice! And thanks for the sweet comments on my cottage reno! I Have seen the yard stick pics for the stairs! So different and creative! I'm not sure I can be that brave at this age! Blessings~~~Roxie
Ceekay, great collection. How special to have your grandparents rolling pin. I once had my mom's and MIL's rolling pins, but they have disappeared. Makes me sad.
