Things rarely go totally as planned. I just got my first chemo treatment yesterday. Had some insurance issues and I didn't know what was happening until yesterday morning. All went well and so far I feel fine. Maybe it will stay that way! I want to get some more Fall decorating pics to show you, so maybe today. I thank you for all the words of encouragement. You probably will never really know how much my husband and I appreciate them. There are so many battling this horrible disease. I met a young women yesterday battling melanoma.....she has to have a month of chemo EVERY day. I feel blessed I only have it once a week!
Ok, I will let you all go and look at pretty pics. I am hoping to get some up soon. Have a great HUMP DAY!

Hi CK,
I'm glad to see you back, have missed you. Maybe it was me who was "gone." We were away at my grandson's wedding, etc. Just want you to know I'm still praying for you, think about you often. My husband had chemo and radiation for months and today he is cancer free!! He didn't have many side-effects from the treatments which was a blessing. I pray this for you!
I just read your last post with the advice you gave us - thank you for doing that, we need to be reminded of this and often! No reason to complain about aging, or anything else for that matter!
Sending my love and a hug!
Katherine
Good to hear from you Ceekay. Hope you continue to feel well. Take care!
Glad to hear from you, Ceekay. It is a horrible disease and I am glad that your first chemo went okay. xo Diana
Oh, sweetie! I'm praying you'll continue to feel good! Just take care of yourself. I'm at a spot where I'm about to not have insurance. I've had Cobra since my husband retired and his company has been gracious enough to extend my coverage for 3 years! I don't know about this Obamacare I'm hearing about - doesn't sound good. I've got 3 more years before I can get Medicare! Oh, my Lord! What are we to do? I know God will take care of us! :)
Love you and just rest,
Shelia ;)
Hi Ceekay, So glad your first treatment this round went smoothly! Praying that it will stay that way. We are so blessed by you-you are such an incredibly strong woman with an equally strong hubby next to you.
Hugs today.

Ceekay, I hope you can continue to feel fine through all this. I pray for you . It is sad when you go for treatment and see so many others..then you realize if this many in this one place in this one area of a big city, then there are so many who are going through it. May God bless you. xoxo,Susie
I'm still praying! And sending hugs to you! Both of you!

Thinking of you Cekay and wishing you love and praying.
Ceekay I am praying for strength for you. Try to keep your spirits high and know that many many people are thinking about you and praying that this cancer will soon be a distant memory for you! Love and hugs coming your way!
and some more love and prayers from another Texan coming your way. Funny how in bad times we can find someone maybe just a bit worse off than us. Keeps everything in perspective, I guess.
Always so glad to hear from you. Glad this chemo day 1 didn't make you feel bad, yay! Looking forward to seeing some fall decor from you :)
