Before Summer is Over

I figure I better show my summer centerpiece.

I love sea shells.  Especially ones that I have found myself.

When I went to Meri's house for our craft day, I mentioned how I had been looking for a 3 tiered thingy ...!!  and she said, well you found one!  She was so sweet to give it to me and I came straight home and filled it with my shells.

I wanted to show this sweet salt cellar.  I bought it a few weeks back at an estate sale.  I haven't had one previously with the silver tray.  $2.00!!

Thank you for all your encouragement on my health.  As my hubby would say....no, you aren't dancing in the street, but you ain't dead either!!  that pretty much sums it up!!

You have some really nice shells and a very generous friend! I had hoped to do a post on shells back in June, the time we start thinking more about the seashore here. It didn't happen so, maybe next June. I have wondered about your health and it's good to know you are able to carry on! Wishing you well.

Hi Ceekay,
I haven't checked out your blog since the guys were working on the upholstery. I hope everything is okay, I'm thinking of you! I'm glad you had a chance to take the camping trailer out, I know things are a bit crowded in them but you'll get the wrinkles ironed out eventually and then it'll be more fun!
Hugs,
Faye

What fun posts I've missed, CK! LOVE your "3 tiered thingy" as well as your shell collection. I have several BIG conch shells that belonged to my paternal step-grandmother. They just sit on a shelf in the den. I need to get the out & USE them in a tablescape soon.

The photos of you & your grands was just A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E! What fun memories you're making for them.

As for the camper...it is darling but I'm so terribly claustrophobic that I can barely look at the photos. I have to leave the room or close my eyes if a program comes on TV about being in small, closed in places. You can't believe how quick I can get up & hightail it to the kitchen if someone goes down a tunnel...gives me the heebeejeebies just thinking about it now!

I'm glad you were able to enjoy your getaway & I hope you start feeling more perky soon.

Gentle Hugs,
Rett

Cute summer arrangement Ceekay! Am glad you are feeling a bit better (saw that on fb)- Just had company leave from out of state today and am trying to just rest up a bit.

I have been on bear watch for the past few weeks. We had a fire a few weeks ago which has caused bears to come into town and they are trying to get to my honey. Am hoping to harvest the large hive which has about 60 lbs. this weekend. I hope he doesn't get in to the hive before I have time to harvest!
