A Boo Boo

Remember when you were a kid and you scraped your knee....mama would wash it, and put a Band-aid on it and kiss it...and life was all better!

My husband brought me these a while back when I was sick.  Aren't they cute?...I am sure they are for kiddies, but I is one inside!

I have my share of boo boos right now....remodeling is definately hard on a Old not as young body!

I don't know when I will post again for a bit...it could be tomorrow, or it might be a week.  Just depends on what we get done....but I will be here.  I am doing my best to visit most of you, at least a little.  Life will get normal again.....at least, that is what THEY tell me!

awww... hope all is better soon. (((Ceekay)))
I LOVE those choc-aids! My hubby would love them too if they were dark chocolate. He keeps the bandage company in business... should've bought stock!

Looking forward to your progress...
Have a great weekend!

I could use one of those and a real one too. I've got a nasty cut down the front of my leg, you can guess why, haven't done that in years. Can't wait to see all of the updates you're doing! Have fun!

That's great medicine! We need some here today. I can't even imagine all the work you are into. You've got all my best wishes and prayers for everything to fall into place as easily as possible. Hope that you've got some great friends to call on when you need an extra hand.

I so need those choco band-aids today! I found out two days ago I have a small tear in my left hip joint (old injury that's been buggin' me). Now surgery is in the horizon...not soon...but it's coming!

Will the band-aids help me?

Ummmm...prob'ly not but they'll taste great! RIGHT?

Thanks for your your response to my comment yesterday....I remember so well when we sold our farm after so many years...Jim was working in Texas and wasn't there to help...I was busy trying to decide what to move and what to sale and what to give away...thinking about leaving my extended family and moving to a far northern place...I had a dental appointment in the meantime and was telling him about this pain in my neck and back of my head. I thought I must have dental problems. He asked me if I had any stress in my life and I laughed hysterically....so I know just what you're dealing with....remember to take time to rest and also for some distraction like reading a bit....and yes, you definitely need to go on your trip.

Awesome....chocolate bandaids!! I MUST find some of those for ME!! :) My foot is boo-bood and choc. sounds like a great fix!! I think it's Plantar Fasciitis AGAIN. :( I have a 5k in the morning, but haven't been running all week....trying to "save" my foot for Saturday! :) I just took the grand dog out for a little "jog" around the block to test my foot. I taped the dickens out of the areas that hurt..to stabilize the tissue and keep it from getting more inflamed while I brutalize it tomorrow! :) My foot didn't hurt while I was running.....I also switched shoes and arch supports. Gotta be very creative when it comes to dealing with these goofy issues. Anyway...in the total scheme of things..it's a good problem to have...at least it comes from overdoing the exercise thing. I saw a poor lady yesterday in the shoe depart. at Macy's. She probably wasn't much older than myself. She was using a walker because she had terrible feet/ankles. All swollen and discolored. It brought me back into the reality of how lucky I am to have strong legs and mostly strong feet.

Gotta go find something healthy to eat...fuel for this old body for in the morning!! I will not be eating healthy tomorrow night..... :)

Take care and don't work too hard. SOOOOO looking forward to your completed redo!!
