I never realized you could volunteer to place the flags on the graves. What a wonderful way to honor our fallen on Memorial Day.

My boys did this Saturday. Yesterday we went to the cemetary in Cave Creek. Lovely, all around.

Nothing is as moving as when you see all the flags in the cemetery for Memorial Day.

Hello Ceekay~ I've got a favor to ask...I would like to invite you over for a visit to see a very special post I've written. I would love it if you could take a few moments to stop by.
Thank you sweet friend,

I am sure this was very touching and made one ponder deeply.

Yes, I think any kind of berries would work for the cobbler recipe! Even apples! It is sooooo yummy! I had left overs for breakfast! I am so bad!

Hope you are feeling good Ceekay!
Hugs,
Maryjane

We took our kids to a Memorial service too. I think it meant a bit more this year for them, realizing that Jordan could've been one of these men.

We then went to a Memorial statue in town with my cousin's name on it. We didn't grow up in this town, but he did, so that's why his name is there.

Next year I'd like them to help place the flags :-)
Blessings,
Marcia
