It's Magnetic!

Hi all.  Sorry I haven't posted much but I am trying so hard to get ready for my trip.  I had a lot of shopping to do and also been working on geneology things because I am meeting with a cousin to go through things.  That is a LOT of work.  Tomorrow is my ever favorite CT scan and then doctors next week.

I am going to post about something great discussions in the decorating world talks about.  Refrigerator magnets!

I have several times taken all the magnets off the refrigerator for a less cluttered look....and then just like my dish collection....more just seem to appear.  So, I have given in and they are staying.  I thought I would show some of my favorites.

Oh, this one is SO true!
I really get a kick out of this one!
Home is Where the Mortgage is....boy, how true that one is especially these days!
 but....I still like my diamonds!!!
I just love to have friends come to visit and share a cup of tea...
I have learned what the above really means!!
Kinda goes with the prior magnet....I try my best to make my life count!
This is really what I want on my headstone.  No, I am not kidding!!
Got this with my friend Kathy in Crown King....that was such a fun day trip!
These are my husband's....but they are HIS, don't move them!!!  He loves Blue Man...I don't get it!
Did I ever tell you I took hula lessons in Hawaii???  Yep, I did and we put on a show too!!  It was MEGA fun!!
One of my favorite memories with Ro...going to the Lady and Son's in Georgia.
My husband and I love to cruise.  We haven't done it in a while because of the Mexico problems.  But I am hoping to go again soon somewhere!!
And always, my Love for America!

Ok Design to Sell and all others....yep, I do faux plants, have family pictures all over and magnets on my refrigerator!!  And I LIKE it!!

Hi Ceekay! Oh, what cute magnets! I used to collect magnets and just can't get rid of them. I take them off the fridge and then I put some back on again.
Be praying for you with your test.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Cute magnets, girl! I love things that make me smile, don't you?

I must have missed something, but dare I ask, what are the Mexico problems? I must have missed that one, Ceekay. Is there some problem with cruise lines there? Come to Florida, and head to the Caribbean. The weather is good now for a cruise.

I hope that all is going to go great with your tests this week. Will be thinking of you and have prayed that they go smoothly for you.

XO,

Sheila :-)

P.S. Someone just left a note on my blog that they were praying for me, and my headache had vanished. I'm convinced it is her prayers.

CeeKay, You are so funny! Please post some hula pictures for us! And I do faux too--now that Pottery Barn is selling so many faux I wonder how HGTV will deal with it? We used to have so many magnets when the kids were little--alphabet and favorite characters--then we redid the kitchen and have no magnetic surfaces. I miss them! Remember--we want to see you in a grass skirt! :) Linda

I'd rather have a home that looks like someone lives in it! I was a magnet person, too until I got stainless steel, now I use them on my microwave!!

Good luck with the tests and doctor's appointments!

Jane

I was thinking about just this thing the other day...wondering what was on everyone's fridge...mine won't hold magnets on the front and since one side is toward the cabinets and our under counter toaster oven, that leaves just the side we see going in and out of the kitchen to the living room...most of my magnets hold photos on there...it would be fun to see what others have.
Thanks for sharing....good luck with the tests and doctor visits.

Is there something wrong with faux plants, family pictures and magnets? I have all three.

How did your scan go today? Prayers for you always.
I am doing a bit better, but it takes time to heal the esophagus.

Faux flowers, magnets and family pics, here to stay.

Hi Ceekay,

Such fun magnets! I think you've made the right decision to display them proudly! I'd say it's a bona fide collection at this point. ;)

Hope your CT scan goes well and that you get a good report from your doctors.

Sending caring thoughts and warmest wishes ...

Have a wonderful time on your trip. I know what you mean about magnets. I clear mine off from time to time too, but they never stay gone long. We use them to hold up way too many things on our fridge :-)
Blessings,

Good Morning CeeKay Sweetie...
I pray that your CT Scan went well and that you will be moving forward with your wonderful trip with the girlfriends. I am so tickled you are able to travel. I can't wait to read about your travels. I travel through you sweet friend.

I love your magnets. I couldn't pick a favorite one, as they all looked so inviting. I have always loved standing at Momma's fridge and reading her magnets. They always make us smile.

I hope you are enjoying the soft rain today. My gardens are so happy to be getting misted. Free water, I love it.

Hope you have a beautiful Saturday sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Great magnet collection Ceekay. I've done the same thing ~ took all of my magnets off of the refrigerator. My frige looked so sad without them, and the photos of my grands, so I started putting them back on (and yes, even adding to the previous collection). Love all of yours that have sayings for living life. Hope your scan went well. laurie
