Fresh Cut Friday at Liz's!

Isn't this cute?

My husband brought me the flowers.  And my daughter gave me the birdhouse.  I just put inside a cup with water and put in the carnations.  I tell my hubby to not buy flowers and have them delivered anymore.  These were from Kroger and to tell you the truth I got them in the middle of January before Karen came.  I just threw them out this past Monday....Unbelieveable.  I love flowers...and if you do too, you should visit Rose Vignettes....she has Fresh Cut Friday once a month!!  and it is this week!  What a fabulous excuse to get some flowers!!!

HI Ceekay! What a bright spot in all of this cold weather! Gorgeous flowers and that was a great idea putting them in the little birdhouse! You're making it look like spring is around the corner.
Be a sweetie,

Pretty yellow carnations, sure to put a smile on anyone's face, especially when displayed inside that cute birdhouse.
Happy FCF.

Those look so pretty in that birdhouse. I love all your clever little ideas. I agree with you about the flowers. I love to pick up a little bouquet at Walmart or the grocery store. I always get myself a bouquet of white roses in January and I forgot! It isn't too late, do you think? I mean, February doesn't scream it HAS to be pink or red, but it sure is inviting. I don't have a husband but I have a delightful and beautiful cousin who is always bringing me flowers... What a sweetheart...

Hugs from snowy Missouri..

What a cute display Ceekay! Kinda like "think spring"-and we really want to on the East Coast:@)

Hi Ceekay! I dearly love little houses..birdhouses..it doesn't matter. I have them all over the place. Your's is adorable with the flowers in it.
I've heard on the new about the freezing weather in some parts of the country and all that snow. We in Southern California are still experienceing un-Winter like weather.
Stay warm and cozy and enjoy your weekend.

Oh...and a birthday is coming? I hope I remember to get myself over here and wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! But if I don't... :) best wishes and many happy returns!

Anywho! I'm with ya! Grocery store flowers are so affordable! And have you seen the flowers at Target lately?
BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks so much for jumping in! I appreciate it!!! :)

Oh, how pretty! I am starving for blooms. And yet each week (including today) I go to the grocery store for the weekly groceries and stare longingly at the cut flowers. I cannot seem to cough up the price for something that isn't in dirt. Sad, but true.
