No, I have no cheese with this whine!

and this picture has absolutely nothing to do with anything....

except, I really wish I was in Hawaii!

What a week. It started out so fun with having my grandson, but even while we were with him, I was having some pain in my left shoulder. On Wednesday, I had to go to the other side of town for my ever favorite PET scan. While I held my arms over my head for 30 minutes, the pain was getting worse.
By Wednesday late afternoon there was NO question. I was in PAIN. I tried advil, but it only helped for a short while. So I finally decided, I needed to see a doctor. Well, just try to be a cancer patient and go see an HMO doctor. What a run-around. I finally said, look, just because I have cancer doesn't mean I don't get sick!
They gave me an early morning appt. and I was anxious to get there today. I KNEW I knew what it was...but, I can't prescribe for myself! So after driving 30 miles one way, I found out I was correct, I have Bursitis. Got my prescription and promptly went to the lab, another 15 miles, to have all my blood work done for next Wednesday. I came home and I am staying home! It is 112 degrees and I am cooked! I have a couple of fun things planned for the weekend..so I am looking forward to that.
Anyways, that is all for me today and probably till Saturday. Thanks for all the sweetest comments on my wreath.

Ceekay and one fluffy little dog who watches all of this!!

Friday evening: thank you for all the good wishes and prayers. I am feeling much better. The pain is so much more manageable. More like a dull ache. Few more days and I should be good as....well, as good as!!

Sorry to hear about your pain. I can see why you would rather be in Hawaii. Yikes, 112?? I thought it was hot here at 90. I don't think I would leave the A/C again until fall.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Oh I hope your bursitis heals quickly! Running around in the heat does take it out of you. My friend has been here for a couple of days. We ran around in the 105 heat and now I'm zapped!

That's rough. I have had problems with my shoulders off and on since 7th grade (softball started it I think). It is so painful! I'm glad they finally listened to you. Hopefully this will not slow you down this weekend. Take care of yourself!

Oh Ceekay, I am so sorry you aren't feeling good. Bursitis is really painful. So glad the Dr. finally gave you something for it. The pictures below of you and your grandson are just too precious. It looks like he was really enjoying the puppy and his visit with you. I also wanted to let you know that the next "Cloche Party" is scheduled for Sept. 11th for the Fall season. Grab the button on my sidebar to remind you and tell your friends. This should be really fun again. See you there and hope you feel better soon. Hugs, Marty

Oh, Ceekay! I'm so sorry you're not feeling well, but I'm glad you are better from that second note. Hope it will be all gone soon!

And I hate that it's 112 there. It's been hot here, too, and for some reason, it's been extra hot in our driveway. I hate to get out of the car!

Sending you much love and many hugs to feel better VERY soon...

XO,

Sheila :-)

PS... If you want me to, I will ask my naturopath if there is any natural remedy for bursitis. I see her in a little over a week.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Oh Ceekay, I'm so sorry but glad you're feeling better. Seeing a doctor can be a real "pain", especially when you have to be out in this terrible heat. If you're feeling up to it you might be interested in a lunch or brunch at Gooseberries on Thursday. I got an email from Debbie telling me about it. Seems all AZ bloggers are invited to be there as one blogger is moving to PA and wanted to meet there before she moves.
Here's the url about it.

Take care. I'm remembering you in my prayers.

Hi Ceekay.
Oh I so hope you are feeling better. Bursitis can be as you stated very painful. But the good news does improve with rest and time.
I loved catching up on your blog posts. The wreath is gorgeous and I know you had fun making it. I used shells to frame a vintage mirror that hangs in my garden. It was a fun process.

Your grandson is so cute and looks like he is enjoying the little pup. What a darling!!

Have a great week and feel better soon sweet girl.
Blessings and hugs,
Celestina Marie

I feel like a new woman since I got a cortisone shot two weeks ago is an inflamed bursa in my hip. They can be buggers.

I am glad you had a great weekend with your grandson... they are the best!
