Wish I Could Think of a Cute Title

however....

My brain is fried and my feet are sore.

I am planning my daughter's wedding.  Just a small affair, but still quite a bit of work.  I ran around yesterday, probably too much, to pick up some final items.  The wedding is June 23rd.

So, I am trying to visit you....but if I don't make it, please understand.  Life for me lately has been a little hectic.  It will settle down.  It better settle down!
Btw....this clip art is a pretty good representation of how I really look right now!!

Dragonfly Tea Company

Last August my husband had a Groupon for Fleur de Teas in Phoenix.  I did a post on it back then....I loved their tea and we have waited for another Groupon.  Yeah...they finally had one but now they are called Dragonfly Tea Company.

We went and I knew I wanted this one tea that I just loved.  But because of our move, I could NOT remember the name of it.

So I picked out 3 teas that appealed to me and a bag of Herbs de Provence.

I came home and went through my past posts and found the one about the teas.  There it was the tea that I considered my favorite.

Indulge Yourself.  I love that name.  They no longer carry it.  That doesn't surprise me, cuz if we like it, it is usually the Kiss of Death.

I called Holly and she laughted.  Unknowingly, I bought Sweet Surrender.  It is almost identical to Indulge Yourself.  See, I really do know what I like!

I also wanted to show the June page of my Suzanne Duda calendar...before June is over!

Get Out My Soapbox

You know I do not like to get political....

I want everybody to get along....

I want criminals off the street....

But seriously, arresting a woman for cheering at her daughter's graduation?  I have been mumbling since I heard this story.  Ok, so they told the people not to cheer.  Big woop....and she cheered.

Well, lock her up and put her in a cell with a murdering child molester.

Really people!

Where did I put that chocolate?  I just cannot believe this....can't even cheer at a graduation...no talking about all the kids that drop out and don't graduate...are in jv detention......

***Edited....I am not saying she shouldn't have been confronted....I don't know and the paper doesn't say  how long or how loud she was......I am saying to arrest her and charge her with disorderly conduct is a bit over the top in my opinion.

Romancing the Chalk

Do you have your cuppa and some cookies....you are going to need it.

Storytyme by Ceekay

Once upon a time, there was a little girl.  Some say she was spoiled, but really she was the only child!  One Christmas Santa delivered a big chalk board...2 sided on a stand.  The little girl loved that board and eventually realized her Daddy got it for her.  She had to have been about 7 or 8, because her daddy died when she was 9.
Many years have passed and the chalk board has lost it's stand, and hung in several other places....
When we moved to our MH a month ago...said chalk board came with us.

Then the lightbulb went on...oh honey (honey being hubby!)  do you think you could ???????

Hubby considering his move......

and today.....TA DA!

He finished it and hung it on my pantry door.....

He saved the original frame, just cut the shorter sides down....

I just love the little graphics.

This is just Too Stinkin' Cute, even if I have to say so myself!!

Hall and .....Steaks!

On Saturday our son was coming by for a BBQ.  We were heading to the grocery store to get some steaks and we were almost to the gate when I said....and I quote! "uh, oh,ooooh, st,sto, stop the car!"  My husband thought I was having a seizure or something....but no fear....I saw a sign in our community that said ESTATE SALE TODAY!
Oh Lord, have mercy, because I don't need a cotton pickin thing.....but I HAD to go!
My hubs whips the car around and we follow the signs.  Now this is the last day.  I hadn't heard about it previously, but we walked in and the lady in charge says...everything is 75% off the price.
Oh Lord, more of that mercy please.
So we split up....(do you all do that too?  someday I will have to tell you about our date nights!)  anyways...focus Ceekay.
And I am thinking in my head...you don't need anything, really, you have enough stuff, just walk away, SQUIRREL!

There it was in all it's Hall glory. Honey....come here (read this like singing and you get the right effect!)

So I bought it.  And after a long grocery shopping time (it really wasn't, but I was itching to look it up) I found that I have a Hall Silhouette Souffle dish....(now you all try to spell those words!)

Value?  approx $65.00

I paid?????   $3.75   (insert angels singing now)

Isn't it pretty?

The little bowl and the large mixing bowl were my grandma's.....  I can officially say I have a collection now!

I snipped these roses for our dinner centerpiece!

Proof that we really do grill - occasionally!

It was yummy by the way!

My Dining Room Table Finally came!

I am so excited and happy.  My new table and chairs were delivered bright and early this morning.  And it is gorgeous!

When my husband and I knew we were moving, we both decided we needed to change our dining set.  He loved it, but it was pub top and the chairs were just too high for me.  We gave it to our daughter and started looking.  We found this set, fell in love and put it in layaway.  We would put $30.00 on it here and there and figured in a year we would have it paid off!
In February our son wanted to take me to a VERY expensive restaurant.  I told him, I would love to go, but right now we need other things more.  He said well what?  I said well you can pay something on my dining room set.  He said ok and paid it off!  That is a nice present, isn't it... then we moved in, and hubby went to pick it up and the table top was damaged.  They said if we waited another 2 weeks they would deliver it free....and anyone who knows my husband...he said...Free is Good!!
Finally it is here!
I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  When I come back next time I am going to have a decorating dilemma to share with you and get  some of your great ideas!!  Cuz me, I got nothin!

Trying to get back in the Move!

No, I do NOT want to get back into moving!!  My grandma in her broken English always said she wasn't in the move...but she meant mood....so I am trying to get back into the mood of blogging.  I think I have a combo moving, traveling, and nesting lag!!

I do want to tell you that if you haven't visited Doublewide Decor blog...I showed my whole kitchen finished.  More to come later this week.

These pictures were from a wonderful Ice Cream shop in Juniper Jupiter.  I had to take pictures of the antiques...because I wasn't going to steal them!  However the young clerk almost had a cardiac....oh, oh be careful, those are antiques!!  Uh yep, I know that!

Beware.. unattended Ceekay......!!
