Project Show and Tell!

There is a new commercial here for Cox with a dad who embarrasses the son.  We love that commercial!!  The dad goes around and says PAR_TAY!!  That is what I was thinking when I said SHOW and TELL!
(I know, I can be a little strange at times, but hey, good place to say...my blog, my strange!)

Ok, anyhoos, while I was at Mary's, we had a craft night and lookie, lookie what I made!

(Ok, strange again, cuz I wanted to say, I made something while it is still popular!  not like when I got my white go-go boots, two years after they were popular...kinda how my life goes!!  Ok, show the pics Ceekay)

Yep...that is right!  I made them...now, the watch part...is just a prop....I don't have one of those....but I borrowed it from Mary for the picture!

  These pumpkins are so pretty in person and have so much texture.  Thanks Mary for the lesson....so I am going to be PAR-Tay-ing at these parties!

This is Hard!

I know you don't want to see every picture of my trip....but mercy, it is hard to pick and choose.....there is so much to show you.....

After we saw the Monument of the Gods, which I showed in my previous post we went to this small town.

One of the stores wanted you to write on it's chalk board where you came from...

This is supposed to be good spring water to drink!!!...it ain't!

Now, I have seen deer before...however, these deer are not afraid of cars...they are right on the road...just walking and enjoying life...I could not believe it!

I have to tell you a little story....some of my pictures Mary took...why???  cuz she pulls off the road, like in a ditch, the car is almost vertical on its side....I said Mary, we are going to tip over...."oh NO....we do this all the time! " Ok....can you take the picture please and get me out of here!!

I saw a decor item, you know on a blog, or Pinterest....quite a while ago.  But it was one of those things, I had to have it.  Finally, I got it done.

I imagine that the original ones I saw were much fancier...all I did was buy some frames, print off the words...the hardest part was picking a Font.

Well, no, I have to tell you the hanging story.  I am all packed to leave on my trip to Colorado.  It is the night before and I ask my husband if he will hang these for me.  I get that, are you serious?  this has to be done now LOOK!  He was grumbling sorta under his breath....but he did it.  I think they are just too cute!

I am working on my Colorado pics....all 200 of them.  I promise I will post them soon.

I came home and guess what....I hit 400 followers!

I started blogging February 5, 2008....almost 5 years ago.  I have learned so many things, been encouraged, been inspired, been prayed for and have prayed for others....we have laughed together, cried, shared frustrations, copied, and praised.  I LOVE blogging.  It is very different than  those early days.  But having just got home from seeing a wonderful woman I would have probably never met, aside from blogging, it is a BIG part of my life.

I plan on having a giveaway...but give me a bit...I have a little jet brain right now and tomorrow is a long day at the oncologist office.  But I will let you know.  I also am going to try to get caught up with all of you...I HOPE!

I just wanted to stop in and say bye for a bit.  I need to take care of a few things before I leave on Wednesday.  I can hardly focus on anything with excitement of Colorado in my head!

As soon as I can when I return, I will post about my trip and being with Mary from Mary's Meanderings.

I know we all love pictures, so here is some pics of what is inside my clock in the kitchen.  It has a glass door with our name etched in it.

  The tiny scale was a gift from my husband about 15 years ago....the pins in the little creamer are vintage hat pin.

I found this sweet mini milk bottle in California when I was visiting Karen, Some Days are Diamonds...(:(she doesn't blog anymore).

Some more creamer bottles.  Now these are not from my early life, but the bottle on the left....I remember a very similar one with milk at school in Kindergarten.  Oh, how I would LOVE to have one of those bottles now.

Ok bloggerettes.......I am saying Adios for about a week.  Pray for me and that plane.  Many of you KNOW how much I love flying!!

Did you all notice?

I noticed yesterday that I am 3 followers away from 400.  It has only taken me almost 5 years but hey, who is counting!!  I am a happy blogger!!  I should be up to 1000 around the year 2025!!

I don't know about all of you, but this week has been crazy.  I won't begin to tell you all of it, but honestly, I am a bit wore out.  You know the kind of week where a bunch of little things add up and before you know it, everything is a bit cockeyed?? Yep, that has been my week.

And I have full weekend, part of which is getting ready for my trip.

So, I know I need to post a picture....we love our pictures don't we?

Wednesday morning, my man was getting ready for work.  We always listen to Channel 10 Morning News and the main anchor always gives a motivational quote for the day.  I was sitting on the computer (shock there huh?) and hubby was down the hall....so the motivational quote is given...

So then they wait a bit and tell who said it.  I am sitting and saying to the TV....Helen Keller....Helen Keller.

My hubby says, "what about Helen Keller?"  I said, she said the quote.  My mars man says "how did you know that?"  I said, you are kidding right?  I know it because......

IT IS HANGING ON OUR WALL!  and has been for nearly 10 years.  Haven't you ever looked at it...

October 2, my hubby's birthday.

First on the agenda....chemo....well that didn't go quite as planned.  You can read about that on My Journey with Teal.

Stopped at Hobby Lobby because hubster so wanted to go there for his birthday...what?  you don't quite believe that???

Went to lunch at Famous Daves...hubby had a twofer.

Came home to our new old golf cart.  We had to trade the old, old one cuz it quit working.  Washed it all off....took it for a test ride, and put my vanity plate on it....WHATEVER!

Went to Walmart, Payless, and Kmart for shoes for me for my trip....nothin'!

Went to Dairy Queen....hubby had a twofer....Oh, I am so full....anyways.....

Came home, put pop and tea in refrigerator....changing shoes, and off again on the golf cart.  Bentley needs his evening ride.

 Battery is charging...so seats have to be up!
