Triple D, Redo and Girlfriend Time!

Whew!  Maybe you better get a drink!

My husband took me to a new restaurant today after my chemo.  This gas station/restaurant/bakery/store was on Triple D.  We LOVE that show!  Anyways, this one is in Scottsdale and is called The Thumb.  Oh it was delicious.  I had crab cakes!  Delish!

We will be back...It is beautiful out there!

Ok, now for the redo.....remember this chair I bought at a garage sale for $1.00?  I finally got it done and I am thrilled with it.

Here you can see the new LR carpet at the cabin.

And finally, I wanted to share that I am off on my girlfriend trip.  I fly out tomorrow.  Of course, hubby is staying home.  We have lots of fun things planned....but I probably won't post until I return.  Please pray for a safe and smooth flight.  You all know how I love to fly!!!!!!

A Little Rose

My rosebush is blooming these gorgeous apricot color roses.  I love to get a bud and put in a small vase.

This is not the correct color of the rose but the little vase is about 4 inches...

I Must Have been a Good Girl!

Anyone who follows me on FB knows I LOVE sunflowers!

Today my hubby stopped by TJ's and brought me these.  I put them in a blue mason jar, and just Smile whenever I see them

Happy Easter Peeps!

Hallelujah, He is Risen!

I wanted to take time to wish all of my blogging friends a Blessed Easter.

I took a few shots around our home.  I am decorating less and less with each passing year.  I ask my hubby what is wrong with me?  He says.....should I remind you what your main job is?  It is staying alive!  But, a little decoration still is pretty and fun when we walked in from the cabin, to see Easter joy waiting for us!

These egg topiaries and wreath....I can't even guess how old they are!

I always like this white bunny with them.

I love this nest...it is getting old too!  The wood bird I bought in SC one year!  I like them together also!

Well, same story here....but he had to come out and say Hi!

This bunny is absolutely my favorite!  Waiting for a tummy scratch!

So I hope you are all enjoying Easter with your families and friends.  We will be seeing our son this afternoon and our daughter's family.....on Friday.  Hard to get everyone together anymore!
