Just a few finds....

I am really trying to be careful what I purchase at the Estate Sales.  I just don't have a lot of room....but of course, a few things talk to you!

I found this little brown bottle.  It isn't old....but I loved the brown...it is about 5 inches high.

Then I found this Dundee crock.  I don't know what year it is from, it could be the newest for all I know.  But I love the writing....

One more written crock and I will have a "collection"!

On the kitchen shelf.....

Hoping to be able to go again this weekend....I know, I should just stay home and not bring one more thing in....BUT, if I am vertical.....I am going!!!

Don't you love when hubby helps with a project???

I sure do.

We went to Home Depot and found the coolest thing.  And we decided to try it in our main bath.

These are stick on tiles.....They look just like the real glass ones.  About 10 dollars a square.  Just cut with exacto and place on wall.

I am in LOVE!  I am going back to get some for our Master bath next!

So the story of the Gloves

When my husband and I were planning the luncheon for my party, I knew I wanted it to be Vintage.  So for weeks, when I was Estate sale-ing, I would look for hankies.  But nope, not a hanky in sight.

I want to insert here that as funny as it may sound, I will pray before shopping that the Lord will give me a little blessing.   Just some little thing to make me smile.

The week before the party, I was getting desperate.  What could I do?  We went estating and the very last house was a huge 5 car garage sale in a very Spanish looking house.  I told my hubby that I probably won't find anything here.

I WAS WRONG!

The whole garage was full of antiques.....many of which I could not afford.

Then hubby said.....what about these?

12 adorable vintage gloves and for a fantastic price!  Then under the gloves was stacks of doilies....

We bought the items and I said Thank You Jesus all the way to the car.

I worked for 2 hours on Sunday making the tags.  Each was different....then I tied the tags on the ring finger of the set of gloves.

The ladies loved them, I was thrilled and we have an Awesome God!

I don't think I will ever totally grow up!

I had such a great time at my party.  I first introduced every one, than we ate yummy food that my husband provided.  After eating and chatting,  I went around the table and each lady could ask me a question.  That was really fun!

And my dear friends brought me presents.....so here we go!  First is a gift from my long time friend Rose.....she wasn't here but sent this to me.....so pretty.

My dear friend Candy (Sweet Meanderings)....she knows I LOVE antiques and found me this wonderful Kaleidoscope.  And everyone wanted the glitzy box!!

My special friend Marty (A Stroll Thru Life)  gave me the adorable enamel soap dish.  It is perfect in my apothecary black and white bathroom.

Sweet Laura (Decor to Adore), who had the cutest shirt on.....gave me a treasure....a February tea cup from Victorian Trading Company.  It is precious!

Linda treated me to this darling necklace and earring set....

These are my neighbor friends.....ME and C....ME bought me the chair at an estate sale we went to and C pampered me with lotions, Amazing Grace candle, socks, and this pen and stylus.....Hard to see but the top of the pen is crystals.

The Brighton bracelet with the celebrate charm is from my future DIL and her mom....they know I love Brighton!

Well Liz, my precious friend, she got the tears flowing with the most amazing card....and her lovely gift of a  vintage hand tatted runner and a bottle of Amazing Grace.

My daughter and DIL to be were such great helpers.  I didn't have to lift a finger but enjoy.....

My daughter and I are hooked on Italian charm bracelets.  She got me a special made charm ...Happy 60th birthday in ORANGE!  and slipped a gift card to CB in there too.....she KNOWS me.

I was Very Spoiled!  and I love each and every present....but more so, the loved ones that gave them to me!!!  Next Birthday party.....2024, Mark you calendars!!
