Another Year of Blogging!

I always do a collage of pictures from blogging for the end of the year.  When I went through my posts I realized that I mostly crafted and visited friends and family.  So I would say 2011 was a great year.
I usually don't talk much about it on this blog, but living with cancer is difficult.  I hate it!  The doctors, the meds, the tests, the needles.....hate it all....but with that being said, no one thought that I would see 2012 come in.  But I am!
Cancer has robbed me of many things....time, hair, employment, energy at times, financial happiness.....but it cannot rob me of the love I have for my Lord, life, my family and friends.  And you my blogging buddies, you are truly some of my dearest friends.  You have prayed for me, laughed with me, cried with me....and no earthly words can tell you what it truly means to me.

I hope and pray you each have a wonderful 2012.....that there will be many joys and laughter, and few tears and heartache.....but that is the gift the Lord is giving us...whatever it brings......Another Year!

and His Name Shall be called Wonderful!

While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born,  and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room available for them.   And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.  An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."

This is my collection of Nativities.  Each one has a special place in our hearts.

My husband and I would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas.  We pray that you have a joyful celebration with your families and friends....and that you are able to take some time to remember the real reason for this wonderful time of year...the birth of OUR Saviour, Jesus.

On the 44th day of Christmas....

??What??
That isn't right?
But, I Gotta Have 44 days!  (She says kicking and screaming!!)
It will take that many to show my Christmas dishes!!

Well, that may be a slight exaggeration!  but really, here we are, Christmas is around the corner, and frankly...I don't have enough time to do all my Christmas tablescapes.

I had to show this one though...cuz, I got something new!  Oh yah!!  BLOG Worthy!!

Ok, Ok...I know I said I wasn't buying any more Christmas stuff this year...but you would  have done it too!!  Yes you would have!!

The napkins were from Kroger last year.

I am crazy about these Reindeer....bought about 4 years ago at Basha's Grocery Store.
Chargers and White plates I have had a LONG time!
These reindeer plates were after Christmas a few years ago at Target...they are some of my favorites!

TA DA!  This is what I had to buy.  It started innocently enough...I was looking for some gifts at Target for OTHER PEOPLE!  I just walked by the Tableware and there they were...CEEKAY....we are here FOR YOU!!  Well, I had to take them home....I had to I tell you!
And some more of my beautiful centerpiece from my hubs...man, this thing is drinking the water like crazy!

 Just some evening shots!

Is this technically Merry Christmas Week Eve?
