Friday....It's Friday!!

It's Friday and Show and Tell at Kelli's. My hubby has been waiting for me to show our new quilt. It is like a Prism of different colors. So pretty! PS. No I did not make the quilt. That is one craft I have never tried. It is just another QVC purchase! I changed my coffee table for summer. I put shells in an apothecary jar and some scattered around...then, wow, I thought I should put a picture of one of our cruise ships....voila, summer vignette!

Remember yesterday me mentioning about a rooster. Storytime: We saw these roosters at Walmart 2 months ago. Hubby said, "Do you want a rooster?" "No, why do I want a rooster?" Hubby "kinda cute, sure you don't want one?"
So fast forward...a summer of blog surfing and by golly, what do my wandering eyes see??????? Yep, ROOSTERS. Apparently, I had missed the memo that roosters are IN. Of course, hubby, he never said a word...yah, right. "Didn't I tell you to get a rooster?" So yesterday I said OK, I'll go get a rooster. Can you believe I bought one of the last two. Now mind you when we saw them, there were roosters everywhere! Well, at least there is one here now. Wish he would eat the chick weed!

And this? Well this is our beautiful AZ sky getting ready for a whopper of a storm. Usually, there isn't a cloud in the sky.
Oh boy! Not pretty. PS. Aside from losing our power a bit...it didn't turn out to be too bad...I am so glad!

Have a great weekend blogland. See you all Monday, after the storm!!!

Pretty quilt! The rooster is my favorite though. He is so cute.
We have had a storm every afternoon this week, but being in a severe drought we are loving it.
Your table looks great as always.

We've been having storms here in eastern SC every afternoon this week. We've been needing the rain, though.

That quilt is so vivid! Gorgeous! And I just love that summer vignette with the shells and the cruise ship.

I have noticed that roosters seem to be in everywhere. That's a cute one.

Did you make that quilt?
It is so beautiful and looks like lots of work too.
I like your summer vignet.
Roosters? they just don't appeal to me at all. I noticed lots of decor in that theme at Hobby Lobby earlier this summer. So, must be very in. Did you put yours outside?

Now, I love your rooster. I have quite a few roaming over my house. You have to watch those guys! Your quilt is so beautiful! My mother quilts, but it's not something I would like to do. But I sure do enjoy receiving them!
Be a sweetie,

That quilt is gorgeous! I like the vignette, neat idea with the ship photo! Love the rooster! I've been wanting one, but refrained. I used to have quite a few roosters back in the 70s and got rid of them! Who would have thought they would come back into vogue!

Have a nice weekend. Send us some of that rain!

The new quilt is beautiful.
The summer vignette is quite nice.
I remember missing the clouds when we visited AZ.
I don't have any roosters here - guess I'm just behind the times.

Have a great weekend!

We sure enjoyed that storm. The rain was wonderful and it has cooled off so much. You mentioned the Satisfied Frog. I intended to mention it in my blog. That is another place we enjoy although we haven't been there in a long time. We really like their fish and chips.
Hugs,
Charlotte

Hi Ceekay,

I live in Gilbert so I guess your about an hour away on a good traffic day.

Do you know what kind of dog that you want? Active, lazy or both? Rescues are a great place to start. They usually have some training. My dogs were already potty trained, etc.

Thanks for visiting my dog blog. I don't get many visitors there.
