Black and White Tea

I was so thrilled today when I was awarded this award from Kelley. I will be passing this award on tomorrow, but I couldn't wait to add it. I feel so honored especially with Kelley's comment of my blog.
"Ceekay at Thinkin of Home. This lady always makes me smile be it from the lovely comments she leaves to her great posts. "

At Jan and Tom's Place, they are hosting a Tea Party. Since I just went to one, I figured this was a perfect time to show some of the pictures. This was a Black and White tea. I have been wanted to do this for forever!, so my friend Candy and I decided to do it together. She cooked...(thank the Lord!) and I decorated. Now looking at these pictures, you would think, oh how smart, she took black and white pictures...but no, I don't know why they turned out black and white...wish I did...would do it again! Hard to tell here, but we had a white teapot and a black one! Oh, by the way, we all wore black and white!
I found those plates YEARS ago at Target on sale. I made the gift packages to take home...they did turn out soooo cute!
My friend's homemade scones...so good.
Theresa, Candy and Amy....
We had fun. We will do this again...for sure!
