I Met Marty39!

Marty and I were able to meet for lunch on Thursday. What a fun day....we had lunch at Paradise Bakery, talked, ate a chocolate chip cookie, talked....exchanged gifts, talked

This is the precious teacup that Marty gifted to me...it is so precious and I love the border design!
After lunch we ran to 2 Goodwill stores. I found a couple things I didn't buy....proof that I do walk away occasionally!

See.....I was so tempted...but I have some chicken dishes, so I said step away from the 99 cent dishes. I am not quite over it....but time heals the wounds.

If you get a chance to meet a fellow blogger, do it!! I can't wait till my next meeting.

So glad you were able to meet Marty, as it looks like a fun day for all. I'm getting so I have to walk away from bargains some times, too, as I'm just running out of room. Enjoy your weekend. Sally

I think that is so fun that you two got to meet! To grab a bite, talk and talk and then SHOP! Whoo hoo.
Good girl for not getting the rooster dishes. Honestly, I love the ones one blog posting down that you already own much better anyway! And the bowls are awesome!
Don't you think it is funny how there are so many of us who love dishes? Who'd've thought? LOL
Have a great weekend! Karen

Congrats on meeting a blogging friend! How nice!

And those chicken dishes are so cute! I don't know how you passed them up. I don't even have room for them, but I probably would have bought them! LOL!

Have a great weekend!

Ceekay, meeting you was definitely the hi-lite of my week. My DH said he hadn't seen me so excited in months. You are such a beautiful and precious lady. I had a ball and hope we can do it again soon. Hugs, Marty

How fun for you to meet Marty! I am looking forward to meeting more friends this summer also.
You both look beautiful and like you had a wonderful time.
You are a brave woman to walk away from a .99 deal. LOL MR B. just doesn't want me to bring anything else into our home! (He wants to downsize to a retirement size condo with a retirement yard which i can't blame him.)

I hope your weather is cooler this week so Mr B doesn't bake when he comes to spend the week!
Take care my friend,

beth~♥

Girl, you have will power to pass up those cute little rooster plates. My vote is to go back and get them. They sure would be great for Tablescape Thursday!

How fun to meet a fellow blogger. The tea cup she gifted to you is so pretty and will no doubt bring up happy memories of your meeting everytime you have a cup of tea.

Good will power you had in passing up those rooster dishes.
