Apparently not!
Last Monday started out pretty normal. I went to get my nails done. Coming home my friend Candy called and said she knew of a dog we might be interested in. Well, this little precious fella has had some difficult days. He is going to take some loving and patience, but he already has started to make himself at home with us. As the story continues, we didn't know we were getting a doggie that day and we had already made plans to go "up north" for the weekend. So what could we do, but take him along! He loved it. He played with another dog, he tried to run away, he likes fast food restaurants, and he likes to get up about 5:30 AM!
Our Bentley is 18 months old and a ball of fur! When he feels like being loving he is a precious baby. When he doesn't want to be bothered, well...best to just leave him alone for a bit! We were thrilled though when our grandchildren came over and he just was the happiest dog to have them to play with him. Lots of giggles there!
I have lots of pictures of Payson to share later this week. We garage saled (have they made that a word yet?) and antique shopped and flea marketed till our feet and paws ached! It was so much fun...but that is for another day! Till then, you will find me trying to catch a nap!
Oh and by the way....my Friday's post didn't come up to have the right one on
S & T. So if you get a chance look at my previous post and see if you like my finds!!

Hi Ceekay! What a cutie doggie!
Boy, i'd love to get my nails done but i'm always working in my yard that i'd mess them up pretty quick. Aaah, someday. :)
Blessings,
Sandra
Oh Ceekay, he is just about the cutest. I know you are having fun. I can't wait to see more of him. Hugs, Marty
He is such a cutie too.
Oh, Ceekay! You got a puppy! Bentley is just adorable! What a sweet little cutie pie! I just love puppies! How cute that he's already been on a trip with you! I guess he did well in the car! That's a good thing! Now you have to be mommy all over again and housebreak the baby! :)
I love your new picture you have up of yourself. Hope you're continuing to feel good! Now keep those posts coming about little Bentley! He's precious and I'm so proud for you!
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
Aw, what a cutie he is!!
I like his name too!

Adorable little doggie! You have some great finds in the previous post! Linda
Congratulations on the new addition. He is a cutie pie.
He is just adorable. What kind of hard time did he have in the past???
So ♥ this puppy -- I want him! You guys will have so much fun...
Ceekay, I am so looking forward to meeting you and going to GW. I think we need to hit both of them around here. Hopefully they will have some really good stuff. I havn't been to either in about 2 weeks and that's a record for me. Thanks for stopping by and see you Thurs. Hugs, Marty
What an adorable little dog, just what you need! Enjoy him!

He is so cute! I bet you're going to have some fun with him!

Oh he is a cutie! I'm so happy you got a rescue. There are so many dogs that need homes especially now with people just abandoning their pets. I'm sure he'll be the best dog!
Manuela
Good for you! He's an adorable little angel baby. I don't like to leave my 5 for very long either. I go into pooch withdrawal! ☺ Diane
Oh Ceekay...you got a doggie, too! Tom and I recently (within the past 7 weeks) got 2 puppies!! (You can read about them on our blog.)
Your Bentley is so sweet looking...and he's a Lhasa Apso mix, I see. But, from his photo, he looks like he could be a Maltese, with the white hair...and the peachy coloring to his ears. (Take a look at our Maltese - Jasper...and compare those eyes and muzzle to Bentley!!)

Ceekay! He is darling! OH BOY! I'm so happy for you and for him, too!
XO,
Sheila :-)
P.S. I have no clue how I missed this post. I know I came by here on Saturday and after! WEIRD!
OH I want a lhasa mix...they are such a great dog. We had a lhasa poodle mix when I was a teen (lhasa poo--now they are a 'designer breed' and around $500 for a mutt!) Anyway, we also had a purebred fella and they really are great dogs. I'm wanting another one...and even though we live in CO., he will stay in a puppy cut...easier care.
I'm jealous! ;D Enjoy him.
Aww he is adorable. We adopted a stray that was dumped too about ten years ago. She had some separation anxiety issues but is a great little dog. Obedience classes really seemed to help some of her issues too. Good luck with your cutie!
Good Morning, I am getting a chance this a.m. to read back thru your blog. I am so glad to have read this story of Bentley. What a precious little ball of fur. Can't wait to hear more stories of your life with him! Mildred
