Chicken Tablescape Thursday

I have seen so many lovely chicken/rooster tablescapes...I just had to try my hand at one. I don't have as many lovely chickens, but it is a nice table for my hubby and I to have a simple breakfast I used some gold napkins as a runner on a black tablecloth.
This plates were from our area grocery store.

These bowls are perfect for cereal...rooster on one side,

sunflower on the other.

I have had these gold colored goblets for years...don't know where they came from...maybe Big Lots.

Little salt and pepper shakers from Ross.

Cute little egg cups from an Estate sale.

This I know I got at Big Lots!

The napkins are really towels from Cracker Barrel. On sale yesterday! They are perfect!

Well, I am off to visit all the other pretty tablescapes at Susan's. See you there!

Ceekay, I love it! And I can't believe you found those adorable rooster plates at the grocery store! SWEET! And those bowls -- love the fact that they have sunflowers on them. This was a fun table. Love all of your clucky stuff! ;-)

I've kind of got a thing for chickens, and for some reason, I don't have dishes with them... just lamps and teapots and things. Maybe I better just try to see if I can find some cuteness around here, too!

Happy Tablescape Thursday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hey there! Thanks for visiting me! I wanted to pop over and let you know how much I appreciate your visit and your kind words. I looked through your blog and I can tell we would get along great. I really loved the tour of Gasoline Alley!
I really love a more rustic & primitive style, but I enjoy most anything vintage.
Your tablescape is darling! My Mama loved chickens too, but my older sister inherited her collection. But that's okay, because I got lot of wonderful things too. She would have loved the bowls with the roosters & sunflowers, as those were her favortie things. Seeing them will always make me think of her.
I look forward to getting to know you better, so I hope you will come visit me again.
Have a great week!

Hi Ceekay! What a cute tablescape! I love roosters! I saw on Marty's blog that you two got to meet. How fun is that!! I've gotten to meet some of my fellow bloggers, too. It's nice to be able to talk blog with someone who understands. But even better is putting a real face with someone you already feel that you know. Marty has been a dear friend of mine since RMS days and I know she must be wonderful in person. How great that you two sweet ladies go to meet! Have a great weekend...hugs...Debbie
