Friday's Show and Tell

For my Show and Tell this week I just wanted to show a couple new purchases. I absolutely had to have these glasses from Pier One. The front of the glass is like a chalk board. Too cute!

These placements I bought at the Dollar Tree. To me, they remind me of Laura Ashley kind of linens. I love all the pleats. Can't wait to use them.

Finally, this is my Key wall in the hallway. I have a "thing" for keys. These I bought 2 years ago at Kirkland. The door knocker was from our old house. We have a steel door and wasn't putting it outside, so I thought I would put it inside!
I hope you enjoyed seeing a few of my "things". Have a great weekend!

I love your "Things!" I was just in Pier 1 last week, wish I had looked for the glasses. I must go to Dollar Tree and see if they have these pretty placemats.

Love the key wall!

You mean that you can actually 'change' the text on the glasses? How unusual and quite clever...I like the concept!

My SnT this week is Native American Jewelry. I also added a book review this morning too, so scroll down below the review for commenting. Happy Friday to you.......

I love that place mat, especially the lace at the side. How elegant!! And those little glasses are so cute. I miss Kirkland's -- they closed the one near us.

Wow, a key wall, I've never seen such huge keys before... I especially like the white placements, so pretty! What a pity that I live over here in Europe and don't have the chance to drop by the nearest Dollar Tree...

I would LOVE to have your keys! Those are so, SO cool!! (I have a thing about keys, too, but I don't own any to show for it. Maybe someday...) The glasses will be lots of fun for using with guests. I'll bet you like to entertain! (Me too, I just don't have much time!) The placemats are a great find. I'm amazed at the good deals I discover at dollar stores. I try to stay out of those places, otherwise I spend way too much trying to save money.

Those glasses are great! So many fun things that could be written on them. I have a feeling we'd get pretty ornery in my house with those.

The Key hallway looks really nice too!

Those glasses are so cool. You could place them on a table for place cards and everybody would know what glass was theirs, how neat. You just never know what treasures you will find at the dollar tree. I love that store. I use keys in decorating all the time. You've got some great keys and I really like that you put the door knocker on the wall.

I love the place mats also. Dollar Tree has some nice things. I've bought towels and napkins there.. Yesterday I noticed they had some with a patriotic theme.

Hui Ceekay, Your show and tell items are wonderful. I love the keys on the wall where the temp. control it. Those walls are always a challange when those controls are right in the middle of the wall. Those placemats from the Dollar Tree are wonderful. I will have to look for those.
Love the glasses. What a great idea for a casual dinner with friends.

I love the glasses. I'm a key person too especially now with this house. We actually have the original 1892 'skeleton' keys for the front doors.
