Bedroom Show and Tell

This week at No Place Like Home, Kelli asked us to show something from our bedrooms. I just posted my bedroom, (scroll down) but thought I would focus on some of the items in the room. This picture has been in our bedroom for many years. I think I bought it at a Walmart. But I love it and won't replace it.
I have four "prints" like this, two on each side of our armoire. Each one has a different item in the center. Found at Kirklands. Kinda like a mixed media.
A friend (JB) gave this to us for our 5th anniversary. I just have always thought it is so cute.
This is above my armoire. The two mohair bears were a gift to us for our 25th anniversary!
This book is probably one of the most precious items in our bedroom. It is a love story that my husband had made for me. He is the hero and I the heroine. It has our birthplaces and different personal touches through-out the story. This book is very special to me.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of our "things". I can't wait to go to all of your blogs to see your show and tell!

First off, that book! Wow, I'm speechless...you have a sweet, caring man...I'd keep 'hold of him for sure, for sure!! And the second framed work down, the one from Kirklands---is that copper and embossed? No matter, I really like the effect it has...

Mine is all about a project I did for fun this week, won't you stop by? Happy Weekend!!!

I liked the book the best! How special that must be to your heart! What a great idea and romantic too! Don't you just LOVE Kirkland's? They always have great stuff at affordable prices. I was just in there yesterday with our youngest daughter who is getting married in November. She had never been in there before but was VERY impressed!

BTW
I liked your bedroom pics from the previous post!

What a thoughtful gift. I've not seen anything like it before. About 13 years ago I went through a phase and crafted mohair teddy bears--probably made 25 in a year. I've since given most away, but I kept those I purchased. They are in a trunk, along with collector dolls and other past interests. Your bears bring back memories of my one-time love of bears.

So, what is a Kirkland's? Not sure we have such a critter in Ohio.

I like that picture of the children whispering.

Do you remember that plaque above Grandma's kitchen door that said "Prayer changes things?" That's above my bedroom closet door - and it's one of those "never replace" items, too!

Been by my blog lately?
