Happy Middle of the Week!

I have been washing and ironing, thinking and choosing on what to wear on my girlfriend's trip. My hubs has it so easy...he throws a change of clothes in a bag...and goes....

I wanted to post just a few little things new around my home. This mirror I have had in a closet for years. It is in an antique frame. I just finally sat it behind a crock with (gasp!) faux greens and a sweet old iron I found at an estate sale last week.

My hubby bought me this sweet honey pot from CB!

Too cute!

Found this creamer at one of the estate sales....$3.00. I know you red kitchen girls would love this!

I love this kind of kitchen piece....

Yep, we are still hot, still have not seen any rain. Even Bentley is unhappy about it. He looks longingly outside, but only goes for the necessities! He is an air-conditioning dog!!
Hope y'all aren't too hot and miserable....but we are getting to the home-stretch! Only 2 months to go and it should be perfect weather...that is why WE live in AZ -----October - May!!!

Hi Ceekay, we finally got rain with big storms and limbs down and no electricity. But still jazzed about the rain. Still hoping some for you. The creamer is vintage goodness that is certain. big hugs♥olive

Hi, Ceekay!

It is warm here today, but not unbearable. However, air conditioning was invented for people like me! Apparently, Bentley feels the same way! ;-)

Do you know I read a piece where a guy was actually trying to convince people we can live without AC. What??? Are you kidding??? More murders are committed in summer than any other time, and there's a reason. LOL!

Love all of your cute things. Don't you just love CB? I do believe they have some of the cutest giftware ever.

Hope you're feeling good today...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hey, chick, I just realized you haven't crossed off Idaho on your map of places you've been! Come on up, sugar.

I'd take my WM milk and put it in one of those of milk bottles in a heart beat. Darling!

xoxo,
Connie

Love your new Honey Pot , that little bee is adorable..
we've had more 100 degree days this summer than any other in 60 years.. of course my AC would decide to go out lol.. we survived and as hot as it was it did take me back to days spent at my grandma's house. She had lots of fans and the sound always put me to sleep.. hearing all the fans going in my own home brought me an odd sort of comfort..

hugs'

It is hot here too. We had a big rain storm for about a half hour around 4PM but it still didn't cool down things.

Love your goodies!!

Happy middle of the week to you too my friend!

And next "middle of the week" you will be AT THE BEACH! Yes the beautiful Pacific ocean will be lapping at your toes and you'll think "why do we live in AZ again?" And then we'll have a fabulous lunch, do some AWESOME shopping, and have a great dinner - after we sit in the So Cal traffic - sorry about that - beyond my control! And then you can spend as much time as you please going thru my studio and even taking a few things if you please.

I can't wait CeeKay!

YAY! Hugs! Me.

I LOVE the creamer. And the mirror. And the honey pot!! Great treasures!!

I feel so bad for everyone with the heat. There is just no escaping it except to stay inside. I hope it cools a bit for your trip. I'm wishing you a wonderful time with all the girls! :-)

Love what you did with the old frame ... but have to admit my heart skipped a beat at the next, close-up shot - it could be an exact match for the armoire and dressed in my guest room!
You're gonna have such a sweet time on your trip ... send us lots of fun photos, OK?

Ceekay it's been warm up here in Co too! Though not like AZ!

Your little honey pot is too cute!!!I love the little creamer too! I am trying to not spend anything- a spending sabbatical I'm calling it. It sure puts a cramp on the shopping but I have so much junk I thought it would be a great challenge to just do with what I have -even with food- you should see my cupboards and freezer!! It's a good exercise for me but I sure miss finding cute things like you are showing
!
