Not much going on.....

We had a fairly quiet weekend. Friday my friends came for lunch...I always enjoy time with the girls. Then our son came home for the weekend...he doesn't live that far away, but sometimes, I think he needs to be pampered...so we took him out to lunch after church today. The rest of the day we just chilled at home...with air conditioning!! and waiting for rain. I hear that does still exist! This week looks like a busy one. I have quite a few last minute things to do, including doctors visits before Marty, Jamie and I take off for California!!

Haven't done much shopping so I thought I would show my little table I have had about 35 years. My husband and I bought it in Frankenmuth MI....and it is a treasure of mine. The top is all inlaid. And when you open it up, it plays music.
So, if you don't hear from me much this week, just know that I am getting ready for our girlfriend's trip....I will try to post again before next week. I hope you all have a great week and not too hot!!

Your table is gorgeous Ceekay, what a treasure to have! And remember the Jetsons? I wish I had one of their little helicopter type mobiles that I could use to meet you up with you all in CA.

Yes, I've heard that there is still rain in places but I've not seen it in a while...we had thunder but no water..
Enjoy your trip, it sounds like our camping trip.

What a pretty table and how cool that it also plays music. I have fond memories of Frankenmuth. Love those chicken dinners ... not to mention the shopping at Bronner's :-).
Have a great trip.

I went to Frankenmuth when I was in MI last fall! Loved it. Of course we went to Bonners. Very fun!
Rain? Did you say RAIN?
Bring it with you please! The beach in the rain is AWESOME! I promise.
Not much of a chance I'm afraid - but hey - you can't blame me for trying!
:) I will see you SO SOON! Keep me posted on your Dr visits. Save your energy!
Big hugs! karen
