A One and Only Pink Saturday Post?!?

I am not really a pink girl. I know that the statement alone is sending chills through some of you. I do like pink...I just don't decorate with it. But I thought the first Saturday of 2009 was a good time to share a few of the pink items I do have....for Pink Saturday at Bev's. This Depression glass bowl was my MIL's.

The sign I have on the Laundry room door going to the Garage. It has a precious pink metal flower.

These random plates hang in my Guest room. The bottom left was my MIL's dish pattern. The other's just purchased at various times for the plate rack.

Now, this is a wonderful slogan to live life by! Just ask my husband!!!

My most precious pink possession is my Grandmother's teapot.

I did receive one new pink (sorta) item for Christmas. My husband bought me a beautiful Coach wallet. It is black on the outside, but PINK on the inside.

Happy PINK saturday everyone!!

Neat. I like pink but don't decorate in it either. Your items are neat though. I love having things that belonged to someone in my family. Thanks for sharing and for stopping by.

I don't decorate in pink either as my husband wouldn't like it, so I have satisfied myself with blues and greens and accents of pink every once in a while. This seems tolerable to him. It was one of the only requests he made. LOL! Welcome to Pink Saturday!

I'm not much for pink, either; even though I have scads of dishes with pink on them. For some reason, pink dishes are different. Love yours. Sally

Ceekay - thanks for visiting my first Pink Saturday post. Yes, I'm a pink girl, but my little farm house has only one pink room... my farmer couldn't handle too much pink!

I love your pink depression piece and especially love grandmother's pink teapot. It's beautiful! Obviously, you are "pink" at heart!

Hi again :)
I found the mini cloche at a anitique mall a few months ago. They are actually from Princess House crystal and I think they were sold as little butter dishes years ago. I have never seen them anywhere else. They had 2 at the time, I only bought one and wish I had got the other. I hope you find some.

I don't have any trouble finding pink, being a pink gal who decorates in it, paints it, crafts in it! But, I sure hope you can find some outside-the-home pink pics for future posts!
