Would you pray?

2009 - so far an interesting year. If there is an allotment of tears per year - I have put a dent in it.
My husband and I have a young couple as friends that we are pretty close to. They are the same age as our own kids. She just had a baby 4 months ago and we were thrilled for them. Yesterday she called us to come over. She is 25 years old and just been diagnosed with Hodgins Lymphoma. It has already spread. She will be starting major chemotherapy in the next week or so. Ladies, this is not good. She won't be able to work during treatments. She wants to raise her baby and her poor husband is devastated. Please pray for them.
Please, while you are at it, you can add a bit for me. I have my PET scan Thursday and get results next Wednesday. I am resting as best I know how on the Lord, but I am still nervous about it.
Thank you so much. I know there are real prayer warriors out in Blogland. Thank you too for all your wonderful comments. I look forward to them each day. First thing I do when I get up is check my blog!!
Thanks for listening.

Ceekay, First of all, You better believe I will pray! Second, I don't know why I have lost your blog! I haven't been to visit with you in a while and I am so sorry! I had some computer problems and lost all of my favorite places I like to visit...some of them I had put on my blog list, but I think I yours never got put on my blog...for that, my friend I am sorry! I will take care of that so that it never happens again!
Ceeky, put all you trust and cares in the Lord! I know you do! Sometimes he doesn't take the sickness away...but He will cary us through it! He will never leave us or forsake us! Blessings to you, Nancy

Ceekay, I will certainly remember your dear friend in prayer! I will also pray that you receive good news from your scan. The little silver things that my iced teaspoons are resting on are "spoon rests." I found them years ago and actually need a few more and can't find them now. I have googled and ebayed them for awhile now...no luck. Again, you and your friend are in my prayers!

You know I'm already praying for your friends and their terrible situation and I've been praying about your PET for weeks. We know God is good and will take care of us no matter what our futures hold. But I'm counting on good news next week for my own dear friend!

She is so fortunate to have you, who knows what she's going through, in her corner for support, as well as for you to have something to focus on other than your test at this time. Isn't it interesting how things come together sometimes just the right way! Will be praying for you both and trying not to worry too much!

I will definitely add you and your friend to my prayers. If you could, please pray for my friend Michele and her husband. He has Parkinson's and are headed to a new hospital for further tests tomorrow. There is power when we unite together in prayer! I believe this with my whole heart.

Oh you can count on me to pray, sweetie, for all of you!! I know when I had my biopsies last year, I too, was resting as well as I could in the Lord, but was still a bit nervous. God sees and knows, and I pray that He will give you peace and a clean bill of health and heal your friend! Crawl up in His lap and let Him throw His loving arms around you!!
Love and prayers,
Becky

Mercy and the greatest of these are LOVE........and Lord for test......I pray that it would be NORMAL...........what a great word normal.........................that is my prayer for you my friend in Christ our Lord.
