I am not really a pink girl. I know that the statement alone is sending chills through some of you. I do like pink...I just don't decorate with it. But I thought the first Saturday of 2009 was a good time to share a few of the pink items I do have....for Pink Saturday at
Bev's.
This Depression glass bowl was my MIL's.
The sign I have on the Laundry room door going to the Garage. It has a precious pink metal flower.
These random plates hang in my Guest room. The bottom left was my MIL's dish pattern. The other's just purchased at various times for the plate rack.
Now, this is a wonderful slogan to live life by! Just ask my husband!!!
My most precious pink possession is my Grandmother's teapot.
I did receive one new pink (sorta) item for Christmas. My husband bought me a beautiful Coach wallet. It is black on the outside, but PINK on the inside.
Happy PINK saturday everyone!!

Neat. I like pink but don't decorate in it either. Your items are neat though. I love having things that belonged to someone in my family. Thanks for sharing and for stopping by.
I don't have much pink either! It is more of a challenge to find some pink items!
You are a pink lady! You have more pink than me! I love the plates, and the lovely tea pot. I have, well its my daughters, who is 27 and its still here, My MIL gave her a tea set when she was born. I guess she take it to her home one day.

Well now, see? You ARE a pink girl after all! Love your pinks today, C. Your grandmothers tea pot is gorgeous. And your slogan is perfect, in my opinion!
XO...Kathy
I don't decorate in pink either as my husband wouldn't like it, so I have satisfied myself with blues and greens and accents of pink every once in a while. This seems tolerable to him. It was one of the only requests he made. LOL! Welcome to Pink Saturday!
Welcome, CeeKay!!!!

Ceekay - thanks for visiting my first Pink Saturday post. Yes, I'm a pink girl, but my little farm house has only one pink room... my farmer couldn't handle too much pink!

Hi again :)
I found the mini cloche at a anitique mall a few months ago. They are actually from Princess House crystal and I think they were sold as little butter dishes years ago. I have never seen them anywhere else. They had 2 at the time, I only bought one and wish I had got the other. I hope you find some.
Kathy
Nice pinks Ceekay! How wonderful that you have your grandmother's teapot!! Happy Pink Saturday!

Your pinks are lovely & Mary (my swap partner) sent me a tea pot very similar to your grandma's. I think it's on my last week's pink post. Amazing.

Oh, B&B's are GREAT - you'd love 'em. Why isn't hubby a fan? Tom loves 'em too!! Actually, it was because he loved them, that I actually decided to make them a place we frequent alot!!!
For your first "pink" Saturday, you did a lovely job! blessings, Kathleen
I don't have a ton of pink either except in my curio cabinet and my bedroom. And my youngest daughter's room. And my closet...
Happy belated Pink Saturday..I love the teapot and those beautiful plates. You have really pretty pinks. Hope you have a lovely week.
I don't have any trouble finding pink, being a pink gal who decorates in it, paints it, crafts in it! But, I sure hope you can find some outside-the-home pink pics for future posts!
love your bowl and tea pot. I think its so neat how many family collectible pieces you have.
