Well, the mice finally died....

the air conditioner mice.  Yep.....we have no air conditioning.  My husband and son worked all afternoon and evening last night but cannot get it fixed.  We have calls in for a repair man, but they haven't answered our calls.  It was 115 yesterday and the same for today.
If you want to see me or call me....today is NOT the day.  I can't stand having no air.  We spent the night at an empty MH....at least we got to sleep.

This is Grumpy Ceekay signing off until we get air, or I moved to Alaska....

Oh NO!.....with those temps I hope at least you have back up fans to sit in front of. That's what we "unlucky" people do who don't have central air in their 150 yr old Homes! Hope it gets repaired or replaced soon! Try to smile!

Oh, not good news! You may have to check into a motel or visit some friends. ;-)
Good luck with getting some AC soon!

bless your heart, thats awful even at 80 so I can only imagine at 115.

you could have just come and stayed with me- for a week even:) I keep 2 back up window units out in the storage building, in case the 3 ton ac goes out. does that tell ya how much I cant tolerate being without ac? lol

hope they get it fixed super quick.
till they do- heres a tip I got from the ac guy.. just run the fan on manual- shut ac off. sometimes the unit will freeze up in that kind of heat so being off a few hours and runnng just the fan- unthaws the inner unit.
may not fix it but it'll be more tolerable for you. so sorry

What a shame, Ceekay. I feel for you. I hope you get it fixed soon, it must be unbearable. Take care.

Oh no Ceekay- Gosh I don't know how someone could stand it without an air conditioner or some sort of cooling there. We talked to Bill's folks the other day and they said it has been hovering at 115 pretty steady now.

You just need to take a trip over here!!!

When we had the power outage our temps were in the high nineties. After the third day I was packing up and going somewhere....then the lights came no. No electric means no fans or water. I don't know how you stand those triple digits. I don't blame you for moving to Alaska.
