Uh....edited

I can't think of a clever title.  My brain is cooked.  Last night our low for sleeping....93 degrees outside.  The little mice running the air conditioner....they are exhausted.  ****I didn't mean for you all to think my air conditioner is dead....it works fine.  However....even with air conditioning....it is HOT here.  Now I could turn it up to like 65 glorious degrees, but then I would have to pay hospital bills for the cardiac my husband would suffer.  He watches it like a HAWK!  *****
Let's all say it together now.....Fall, we love you!!  Hurry up!

Ok, before my brain shuts down completely....

When our daughter got married, my granddaughter came running to me and said "Grandma, I have a present for you."  It was a little orange blanket for some toy of hers.  She knows I love orange.  I said, "are you sure you want Grandma to keep this?"  She nodded yes.

So if you come into my home you will see this....

My daughter had given me the sign for my birthday I think a couple of years ago....

Well, hope you are having a great week.....if you need me, I have my head stuck in here!!

The freezer!

Oh so sorry it is so hot. I would just go jump in the pool and stay there. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Hugs, Marty

Oh you poor thing...93 is not a good sleeping temp. Have you put a block of ice in a bucket in front of a fan? That can help some. Hope that there's some relief for you soon.

Sweet sign, sweet little orange blanket given with love. Now that's a special gift all right.

LOL- Today...FINALLY....we are in the upper 70's. I worked outside all day long. I love your little orange cloth and sign. Is there anything sweeter than a gift from one of our little ones? xo Diana

One of my friends told me about when she was in college and it was so hot she slept with a bowl of ice water to put a washcloth in and wipe herself down now and again and a mister bottle full of cool water to spray on her while a fan was running full blast! Think we will all be ready for fall this year but I don't like the COLD that comes after that!!!

Yes we are suffering too. My daughter asked if she could put her head in the freezer too.

I am suffering right there with ya! My hubby keeps the air at 80. With a larger home and a pool we can't afford luxuries LOL. I don't do too bad..but I am with you bring on Fall! The heat is bad during the day..but something about cooling off to 65 is nice. :)

I have my air conditioning set on 75 degrees right now. I have to keep the humidity out somehow. At least it's a "dry heat" there!

How adorable, I think it is the cutest little decoration in the house because it means so much. My mice are orking over time too, even with the air set at 70 It does not get over 78 in the middle of the day....It just can't do it!

It was 107 here today...and the same tomorrow. But you live in the DESERT! You should be used to it! :) I live at the base of the mountains. I am NOT used to it!
YUCKO!
LOL! Like the ice...

I feel your misery.. The heat here has subsided a bit but not nearly enough to suit me. I need to move where the high is 75 lol.. Not sure where that might be.

Thank you for commenting on my blog entry, which is about thinking of Autumn decorating.

Wow, you are HOT, in your neck of the woods! No wonder you are thinking of Autumn. Happily, we aren't that hot here. But the heat/humidity are bouncing back. I'm so grateful for the A/C wall units we installed, a couple of years ago.

One of those things-done, which are a-happy-win. :-)

Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"
