Ideas

I enjoy Pinterest.  Oh, I know some of the issues that have arisen, but it AMAZES  me on some ideas I see there.  I even have a Pinterest folder called, Now, Someone was Thinking!

You know, I have no mom alive anymore, never had a sister....so, ideas sometimes that other's think of or hear of....before Pinterest, I maybe would never know.  (Original idea I believe was from Desiring Virtue.com)

Last week I saw an idea and I said to myself...seriously, why haven't I thought of this??? 39 years of marriage, the hours looking for this stuff....so what was it that I think is sooooo amazing?????

All your appliance Manuals in pocket protectors in a Binder!!!  Brillant!

=D It really is all about the simple things that make life easier. Mine are all in a folder in the file cabinet. Need one for a vacuum that got tossed ten years ago? I STILL have it.

You're so cute! I never ever thought of appliance manuals in one place until I married my husband (I was 39 by then!). Can I just say that I've never actually needed one of these manuals but knowing him, he takes them out and reads them nights when he can't sleep. Glad you got your manuals organized!

Super idea, I have all of mine in one drawer, I should put them in a binder. Looks like you had a great time at the box super and at Cave Creek too. So glad you two are having fun. Hugs, Marty

I love Pinterest! I'll never have enough years in my life to do all the great projects out there. I put everything in a binder except the manuals. They are in a drawer.

Ceekay this is a grand idea and I have to share that I do organize our appliance info this way. Makes it so easy when you need to call repairs etc.
I don't do pinterest (yet) I know it will be a huge time drain for me. LOL

It's the little things, isn't it??!! My husband is the "manual/warranty/directions keeper" in our family and he uses a similar system. Back in 1997 we bought "beach bikes" that didn't get much use. Garage sale time came in 2009 before our daughter traveled to China to adopt our youngest grandson. We pulled out the bikes to sell them, and before we know it, husband has the orginal tags and manuals neatly packed into plastic bags and wire-tied to the handlebars. The bikes were the first items sold! He's nerdy, but a keeper! hehehe

I'm like you, Ceekay- A Mom that has passed and no sisters. I often have wished I had a sister to share things with- I do keep my appliance manuals in a file....xo Diana

Ceekay, Loe the binder idea. My head is swimming with ideas from Pinterest. Now, if I could just get away from this computer long enough to accomplish some of the ideas. Good job with your manuals. laurie

Hi Ceekay! Great idea. I keep all my little booklets in a drawer, but could do a better job like you.
Thank you for the idea of the baskets to help hide those awful cords. I'll be on the lookout for some.

I guess it is HERE I tell you that my hubby has ALWAYS done this. Not me, HIM! Sick, isn't it?

I can't find a needle in my sewing room. Does that tell you anything about how I work???? By the SEAT OF MY PANTS!

:) :) :)

Haven't been by in a bit so I have to back track. Busy summer around here and I'm sooo glad it's getting cooler. I can handle busy days...but NOT THE HEAT! Not at 53...if you know what I MEAN!

What did we do before Pinterest?

I admit I am a Pinterest lover. I have found so so many great ideas, recipes, inspiration for my home, etc. I was just telling Steve that I wish there had been a Pinterest when our girls were young and at home. they would have loved the recipes I've been trying.

That is a wonderful idea! Al of our manuals are shoved into drawers, the filing cabinet, and even the magazine basket. I think I have a project idea for this weekend while we watch college football. =)

Have a great weekend!
