Last year after Thanksgiving I gave a tablecloth to her to make shorter for my table. She is a wonderful seamstress. She gave it to me a few weeks ago - I had totally forgotten. She asked me what was I going to do with the extra fabric because she could make a runner. I gave her the fabric not realizing the runner was for me!
It is stunning. The back is the tablecloth fabric as well as the binding. I am crazy about it.
I finally put something Fall out! Actually, I have worked on my front yard. It isn't quite done, but it is getting there! Oh how I wish I had an old wagon. I have wanted one for years....always at this time of year!
So Shelia, I have Fallen too, I just can't Get Er Done!!

The cooler weather is making us think fall. I bought some beautiful note cards at Micheal's yesterday with a fall theme. Guess my head is in the same place as yours. Thinking of fall.
Very pretty. How nice to have such a talented friend.

Well, if you're gonna "fall", at least you start off gracefully! I haven't even found the nerve to take the first step yet! I'm still white-knuckled, clinging to Summer, and dreading the winter weather ahead!! I'm SURE I should be appreciating Fall in there somewhere, but my mind jumps ahead of the game!... LOVE your new table runner!! It looks beautiful on your table! Hmmm.. Maybe I can just start with baby steps. I'm not ready for the big "fall" yet! Maybe I'll just bring out a couple scarecrows, and we'll see how the mood hits me from there! If by that point, I'm not hyperventilating yet, I'll bring out a couple of pumpkins, and just keep going from there! ha! ha! If I'm totally free-falling from there, I'll let you know, and thank you for the inspiration! (0; Have a good night Ceekay! ~tina
Hi Ceekay! Oh, what a beautiful runner and it's perfect for this time of the year! Wasn't that sweet of her?
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
What a thoughtful friend you have! Absolutely beautiful! XOXOX
I have been trying to work on my front porch too...it is still so blasted hot! I have been tempted to clean up my kids old wagon and my husbands old milk cans for my display. Very pretty tablerunner too! Trying to find cheap fake pumpkins because real would mold in no time with this heat.
The runner is gorgeous, Ceekay...Christine
