It has been ONE of those days.....

Pictureless post here. I better not touch the camera...it will probably self insinerate!

Today took some jewelry in to my jeweler to get cleaned....went to Costco, to pick up a certain sale item...that my hubs didn't realize isn't on sale until Thursday.....
Picked up jewelry. Looks clean....got on freeway...something doesn't look right with one of my rings - a favorite by the way.....got home, got out the loop, diamond missing. Called jeweler...come back tomorrow - 30 mile trip and we will fix it.
Asked hubby to vacuum valances in family room. He is nice and tall, no problem...all done except the patio door. Almost done....valance falls to floor....hooks in wall are broke....extensions fall out, curtain on floor....find one extension...cannot find the other.....no, really, cannot find it.

What a day!
The doors are locked. I am not going out anymore today....I just can't chance it!

Oh goodness Ceekay! Sorry to hear about your day! We had one of those last Thursday, Car breaking down, etc.

Makes you thankful they only happen once in again. I have people in my life that their lives seem to be one huge accident after another!

Trying to divide my many iris today- I am bushed and not nearly done!

Oh CeeKay Sweetie...
I am so sorry to hear about all your troubles today. Oh my gosh, a lost diamond. How could they not know when they gave it to you? Most jewelers check it right there in front of you.

Oh darlin, not the valance too. My gosh it is just one of those days.

Please stay inside with the doors locked and don't even peak out a curtain. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Hope you are well, I think of you often. Would love to get together soon. I still can't talk much, don't know if you could understand me or not. Lunch and shopping would be so fun again. Marty? Jamie? Jenny? Meri?

Well sweetie have a beautiful evening. Please know that you are so loved. All my love, Sherry

Why does it always happen? If one thing goes wrong, everything goes wrong. Glad the jeweler still had the diamond. Tomorrow will be better - it has to be better! laurie

Oh, Poor Ceekay! What a day you've had. I'm so sorry. It seems like when a day starts out with something going wrong it just seems to domino! :)
Now I do have a tip that will make you feel so much better - go get an extra thick chocolate milkshake! Works every time! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Ugh - you were having a bad day.
Lesson learned - after cleaning is when things fall out. Always check them at the store! And ask them to check for any loose stones. You just never know.
The valances too? Double ugh . . .
you're right - LOCK the door.
Poor Bentley . . . Look out!
:) Today will be better.
Hugs! Karen

What a day for sure! Bad jewelers..
they should have checked your ring and where did the diamond go?...
Looks like hubby did a great job with the vacuum, he vacuumed so hard the hole darn curtain came down..LOL now you have to find some humor in things..
I would have run to the freezer for a ice cream fix to make me feel better!
Hope tomorrow is a better day!
Big hugs~Elizabeth
