Just a Cracker Jack Sunday!

I know, I am stretching it with the title! These little Cracker Jack boxes have almost become as popular as Target white birdies...so I figure I would show just how copy cat I can be and show my CJB boxes too! You know the saying...copying is the greatest form of flattery, etc, etc....

Now Picket was so brave and clever and opened up one of her CJB boxes.....but as you can see, I am thus far too chicken to do that!!! (Isn't that silly...but then again, you never know when you might see these cute boxes AGAIN!!)

They really are cute though and go so well with the Patriotic decor right now.

So, have a great (CJB) Sunday blogville...rest and enjoy family time! and maybe eat a few Cracker Jacks!

Ceekay, your cracker jack boxes are just too cute. I havn't seen those in years. That use to be one of my favorite snacks. I am with you, I wouldn't open them up either. Thanks for stopping by my MM. I just had to put some of my GW finds somewhere, and the ent. center is the only place, so I just went ahead and used the shelves. lol Yes that is an antique lightning rod in the corner. I have 2 rods and the ceramic globes, I also have the weathervane and the horse and carriage that goes with them. I bought it in Oregon about 35 yrs. ago when we lived there. I saw it on an old barn and they sold it to me. I just love it. I am looking forward to our lunch and shopping, so wear some comfy shoes. We actually have 2 GW's really close to each other, and they both usually have some pretty neat things, so we'll have to hit them both. TTYL Hugs, Marty

lol oh that is so cute girl...love that idea and you don't even want to know how long it took me to finally decide to open one of my boxes! lol I was like 'open it'...'well wait a minute'...'I might need to just save them'...'no open just one for goodness sake'...it was torture I tell you! lol But I love how you did yours! Hey I will copy something in a heartbeat and not feel guilty one little bit! lol lol

SO CUTE!!! Thank you for visiting me, and I'm super-glad I came by to see this fantastic display! I'm afraid I'm going to totally copy this, and I think I'll take a basket of those to our 4th of July party -- the kids will go crazy. I might even wire some to our front door wreath. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
Cheers, Andrea

Hi Ceekay, this past weekend I went to two Targets and my daughter stopped at one yesterday by her work.....there were none of these cute Cracker Jack's:(. But, today was my lucky day, I found them at Wally Word....I was so happy. I haven't opened mine but I'm so tempted..I want to see the little prize. Have a happy evening, Linda

You're right, these boxes seem to be everywhere in blogland....except at my house. I may need to go shopping because they do look so festive for the 4th.

Cracker Jacks have been a favorite of mine as long as I can remember. They have only cheesy paper prizes these days (probably to keep from being sued if a kid ate the plastic prizes) and less peanuts - but they are still yummy! What a fun post - thanks for sharing...
