When my friend Candy came to pick up her dog Shelby, she brought me a couple of gifts! Yeah, I love gifts!! Do you know what she brought me?
Yep, it is in a box!
Do you know yet?
Give up? It is a piano roll!
Ok, right now some of you are asking, uh, do you have a ole roller piano?
NO. Could have...but no.
So why?
Well, when I get ready to do it, which I am not ready YET...I am going to use the paper for scrapbooking. Sepia toned already....see, now you all get it!
Then she brought me this huge diamond...wasn't that thoughtful??
OK...it isn't a big old diamond, but it is good.....
it is an old glass doorknob. I had these on every door in my home growing up.
Thank you Candy...these are wonderful gifts!

Our house in Oklahoma (built in 1909) has some of those doorknob diamonds, they have really held up well. What wonderful gifts your friend gave you!

Dear CeeKay...
I love how you think OUTSIDE of the Box (of Piano Paper)! This is a fabulous idea...no kidding...love it.
I'm sooo into refurbishing what has lived beyond it's potential. I feel like not only are we doing something wonderful for the planet but we converse with our very souls when we waste-not!
Now...is this something I need to start looking for???? I think so!
Thank you for visiting again...your note made me smile.
