It's a Cloche Party!

A Stroll Thru Life is having a Cloche party! This should be soooo much fun. I am more excited to see everyone else's ideas for their cloches as showing my feeble attempts. I have all different sizes and use various items for bases. I still do not have a wire cloche...(insert a whine here), but I bet I will see some today in blog land.

The first cloche is familiar as it is on my blog header. I just love this large cloche with my teacups in it.

A medium size cloche holds my and my husband's baby shoes. The next cloche is very small. I use an old flower frog to hold a picture of my husband grandmother when she was young.

Technically, probably not a cloche...but I just love this birdcage looking one with a bird in it for spring.

A find at Ross...cloche and the tall black stand. Right now it is holding one of my chickens.

Just a teacup and old hankerchief...on a wire cake stand.

This has been so much fun and I can't wait to see all of your cloches!

Hi Ceekay! I love all your cloches! You did a great job! The rooster is very proud to be displayed in a cloche. :) I don't have any but now i'm going to be on the lookout for them.

Ceekay this is an amazing and beautiful display of cloches!

~Wonderful creativity my friend.

I don't think I can pick a favorite. They are all stunning!

Ceekay, EVERY one of your cloches was amazing. My favorites are the one w/the baby shoes and the one w/the flower frog and the vintage photo I just think it is nice to use personal items that mean something to you.
And BTW, the wired one w/the bird is definitely a cloche in my mind! :-) Sue

Oh Wow! You have done some wonderful cloche displays. I came over here to tell you that I was going to be a big copycat with my cloches, but I don't think it matters because the ones you have displayed for the party are fabulous! I know the first time I saw that cloche on your header, I fell in love with the way you had teacups stacked in it. I will be giving you cedit on my posting when I do it, but I completely copied your tea cup idea (mine just don't look as neat as yours). Hopefully, you'll know that I am copying your idea, because it is brilliant, and I just wasn't smart enough to come up with my own idea. Thanks so much for the inspiration of that one AND of these that you have posted for the party. You have a "way" with a cloche! laurie

I didn't show my 'wire' one as you call it because it is a birdcage...I didn't know if that would be called a cloche or not but I use alot of those..man I could have sure nuf had a pretty post if I had done those!!! lol lol

Have a great weekend girl!

Very pretty. I told Hubby cloches were very "in" right now and that they have a lot of them at Marshall's and T.J. Maxx. He said "I guess you'll want to go shopping now." What a good idea. lol

Ceekay,

I loved the memories your cloches hold from the baby shoes to your husbands grandmother. The teacups looked fabulous! In fact they all look wonderful. I am finding I have got to get me some more cloches! :-)

This gave me so many more ideas! Putting heirlooms in them is great, because the glass protects them. All these are really beautiful.

Great collection of cloches and you have a nice knack for displays with them! I also have my baby shoes under a small cloche, I'll show mine next time. I found a really neat cloche while on vacation, but since we just returned I don't have time to create something yet, so I re-posted mine.

Hi Ceekay! Thanks for visiting my blog! I love your cloches too! The one with all the baby items, is such a good idea, and I love the black one you found at Ross. You asked about my little dolls, and bears, they are all individually collected and some I made. One day I thought they would look so cute all together in my little chair. I am a miniaturist and love all things small! Have a great weekend! Linda

I love how you display your treasured keepsakes in your cloche. So often people keep them in a box where they are not seen.
