Where did Today go??

October 2, my hubby's birthday.

First on the agenda....chemo....well that didn't go quite as planned.  You can read about that on My Journey with Teal.

Stopped at Hobby Lobby because hubster so wanted to go there for his birthday...what?  you don't quite believe that???

Went to lunch at Famous Daves...hubby had a twofer.

Came home to our new old golf cart.  We had to trade the old, old one cuz it quit working.  Washed it all off....took it for a test ride, and put my vanity plate on it....WHATEVER!

Went to Walmart, Payless, and Kmart for shoes for me for my trip....nothin'!

Went to Dairy Queen....hubby had a twofer....Oh, I am so full....anyways.....

Came home, put pop and tea in refrigerator....changing shoes, and off again on the golf cart.  Bentley needs his evening ride.

Battery is charging...so seats have to be up!

This is the patio my son made for me..

This is standing on the back of our patio...

Gotta go...Bentley wants his ride!

I love the new digs, Ceekay, and that golf cart looks like fun! Bentley has the right idea! Son did a good job with the pics.

I read the info on the other blog and left you a comment there, too.

Sending warm thoughts your way...

XO,

Sheila

Love the patio. We have the exact same round chaise, and almost identical tables with the antique sewing machine base and wood top. You have exquisite taste, lol. Feel better soon.

Ceekay-

Happy Birthday to hubby! Isn't it great he loves to to go to HL too!! :)

I always thought it was so fun looking when I would see all the little golf carts out there in Sun City! I think you should paint it your favorite orange! You would be the talk of the town!

Hope your chemo session won't put you down too much- you have to get ready for Colorado!!!

Your covered porch is attractive and welcoming and the golf cart must be fun to tootle around in, especially with Bentley.

I love your porch/patio. My sister's 11 year old kiddo flipped their golf cart and totaled it. Having him drive it was nuts any way. Praying for you and your treatment. xo, olive

Hi Ceekay! Oh, I just had to read down a few posts and see how your dental surgery went! Glad it's all over with and you were all good and doped up! :) I read your Teal post and pray this new med will really help you. Now Mr. Precious would just love to have a golf cart. A few folks around here do and one takes her big dogs for their walk every evening. She rides in the cart and the doggies walk! :)
Your patio looks great and love your huge patio. Hope you can get some rest and I haven't done a thing for fall.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Hello, my friend!

I'm popping back by to answer your question. No, not officially. I still don't have a computer due to some unexpected, major expenses on the house. The kind that take your breath away. That kind. LOL! Anyhow, I just didn't feel it was fair to ask Mr. Magpie for a new computer, but the sticker shock from that episode is wearing off some. We still have a few more episodes to go, but I'm going to try and talk him into letting me use one of this work thingies at night so I can at least visit.

Have missed you...

XO,

Sheila
