Is Blogger TRYING to Drive Me Crazy?

Just asking?

First, Piknik goes away....

Then I have NO IDEA (and I am not exaggerating!) on what is happening with Google Friends.  So I added 2 other Friends thingys....It doesn't seem to be helping though!

And now when I try to leave a comment, I have to do doggie tricks and try to figure out what in the world those letters are!  Now remember I just had a birthday and it is not easy to see those letters!  So I hate to do it, but I just am going to have to stop commenting if bloggers have that step.

Blogging is supposed to be enjoyable!

And you all do know that I do not believe there are real people at Blogger.  I mean, have you ever tried to really talk to one???

So, today, along with a stuffy nose.....I am trying to keep my sanity!  Anyone want to join me?

Ceekay, I have had my share of blogger problems. Things changed on their own too. I was not able to access my photo files for s couple days. One day I actually wrote a post on the title line because it would not let me even leave a post. I am not a whiz on the computer-- no way. the only thing I had ever done before was email. So I can't handle problems. Good honey. Some ladies who really know blogging could possibly help you. Smiles to you, Susie

I have heard that the first one hundred years of life are our hardest. And trying to maintain our sanity may prove to be most difficult! LOL! I must have been driving my followers crazy with the music I had a long time ago and took me a while to shut off the word verification..so glad I did..I'm going to just stay with GFC right now. I dont want to have to learn anything new right now.
It's all too much..Try to have a nice day..

Oh, I forgot to look and see what's going on with Followers...that was promised for the first of March wasn't it. The Captcha thing is too much of a good thing for blogging. Too many blogs to visit, too little time!

Hi! I understand your pain! Last night I wrote a post "Just Say No to Word Verification" and today my Ad Sense ads that they push so much have disappeared. Then the spacing issues and font issues. My blog looks completely different on my desktop than on my laptop, sometimes with the font different on each computer.

After all of that, sweetie, have a good day!

Hi there friend, I so understand your frustration, when we age it gets harder to adjust to changes and I for one am having a hard time. I'm not sure what picnik thing was but I had to add a Linky so my non-blogger friends could follow. What's next I ask? Do they not realize that many of us are tech-savy and a bit older.
Hang in there girl!

Yes, those squiggly words are hard to read. I don't require that on my blog so come over and comment all you like :)
Will the blogs I follow that are not on blogger disappear from my list? I think that is what I read which is sad.

I am totally with you and ready to jump ship to Wordpress if GFC does go away for Blogger. Mary

Amen sister!

Glory to God in the highest my friend! God has answered a portion of our prayers.

Alyssa and I will be seeing all of our dear friends tomorrow.
I remember it was Claim Jumpers. But can't recall the time.

See you soon. XO

Yep, I'll join you! A couple of weeks ago my blog just went away! I was commenting on other blogs, left to go to the kitchen a while, came back and my blog wasn't there! I was panicking. I have been backing my blog up but wouldn't know what to do with those files anyway. Well, in a couple of hours my blog was back! I really freaked out! I wish things would just stay the same, unless the changes made sense and didn't mess us up so much! Shoot! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Oh- I absolutely HATE that new word verification thing. What is up with THAT???? There are days that drive me nuts with Blogger and, so far, I don't see much difference in the follower thing..of course, I might not know it if it hit me in the face! xo Diana

I'm waiting out the google connect thing, just like 2000 and everyone thought the world would crash and it didn't.

I'm with ya! I got rid of the stupid word verification thing years ago. I wish everyone else would to. I think they would find that they would have more comments. The GOOGLE thing... well all I can say is that I'm glad I chose a Blogger blog as opposed to a Wordpress or Typepad format... But I am still struggling with the "new Google" I hate change anyway. It seems like everyday I notice something is different. UGH! I hate that! ....
Anyway! Looking forward to lunch!! See you in a bit!

I'm with you about the word verification. It was annoying enough when you only had to deal with the single word, but now it's double trouble! If I don't guess right the first time, I usually just skip it. I can't believe that some of the big-time bloggers still have that.

Thanks for visiting my current "curb appeal" post. Yes, it is truly beautiful around here this time of year. I thought I was having bad allergies, but now realize I have a nasty head cold that has moved to my chest. Oh well, I can sit & look outside & do a lot of blogging -- so maybe not a total bummer...lol!

The new word verification system on Blogger is the same one that Craig's List has been using for a while now. I didn't mind the old one, but this one is infuriating!

With all the talk about Google Friend Connect going away, I went to the source (google's blog) to find out the straight scoop. Turns out, GFC was being discontinued for non-Blogger blogs. Those of us on Blogger are apparently unaffected. To keep up with the blogs I read, I either subscribe via email (if the blogger has enabled that widget) or I add them to my sidebar ... no following necessary.

Have a great weekend,
Connie

Ceekay, I think Blogger help simply doesn't exist! I have been having a problem with my blog roll widget. It won't update with my new additions. I accidentally deleted it in Jan. and have had issues since then. aagghhh.... No one knows what is going on with that and I have heard from others who keep asking me if it is updating yet. It is driving me nuts! So frustrating... So I know your pain! I e-mailed you about your question to my post on "no-reply" blogger. Did you get it? ~ Sue

Ceekay!! So glad to see you!! I'm glad you saw me at Chari's! I don't have the foggiest idea why it says private - I even checked after I saw your comment...and nothing in settings has changed and I have a post there with my new blog address. Is that something that maybe Blogger just "does"? Closes a blog when someone removes posts - all except for 1??? Who knows. I hope others find me.

I hate the XRV86ES StePFRS verification, myself - so I don't have it!! I don't post comments where people have it either. :( Too difficult.

Jan

I am sooo with you! I did not mind typing one word, but the 2 words all screwy is almost impossible. Maybe when they are no longer getting comments, they will figure it out! I missed the last post,,,So cute, poor Bentley, he does not look so happy now that he is not the top dog!!

Hope you are feelong better soon!!!
