TIRED!

We are beat! And I think a lot of us in Blogland must be! It is rather quiet!!

My husband and I had a wonderful Christmas with our family...busy and the house was in chaos with all the toys! Yesterday, we never left the house, not even to get the mail. We were just done. Today, we both woke up to Colds AGAIN!

I just wanted to pop in and say hi! Hope you are all getting back to normal after all the hustle and bustle! It is fun though, isn't it?

Good Morning Sweet CeeKay...
Oh sweetie, I too am so glad for the quiet after the storm. We had so much chaos on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We had to celebrate two days as not all could be together on Christmas. I am just exhausted. DH and I did not leave our home yesterday either. We were just to darn tired.

We must get together soon sweetie. My next scheduled Friday off is the one after New Year's Day, I think that would be the 8th. Let me know your schedule. I would so love to spend a day with you. Shopping if you are up to it, if not sitting and doing a craft or just visiting for awhile. You are such a joy to me. You will never know the ways you have touched my life.

Write and let me know your schedule. As always I love to come and visit your blog. It always touches my heart.

Country hugs and so much love sweetie...Sherry

Ditto here, honey! Only women our age could truly know how hard it is on us to have Christmas with the whole family in our homes. I get so exhausted I think I'm gonna die right then and there. Just us 2 this year and much more relaxing, but still a bit tired. I got a sinus attack last night and stayed home from church barely able to breathe through on nostri! Sigh......

Connie

I just awoke a few minutes ago (11am). I NEVER do that, but it has been go go central here.
I think that I am not going to even get dressed today because tomorrow I have to clean the house and bake/cook for the next round of guests.
No, I think I will watch Mrs. Miniver and The Little Shop Around the Corner. Love the 1940 films. :)
Be well Ceekay.

Ceekay, I am so glad you had a great Christmas. We did too and it was so nice to have all the family around, but like you I woke up yesterday to a really bad cold. I am just done too, just sitting and doing nothing but taking a ton of cold medecine and trying to get well. Hope you are better soon. Hugs, Marty

PINEAPPLE!! You need fresh pineapple &/or pineapple juice! As much as you can drink or eat. It will often stop a sore throat in its tracks, honest. I've had it work for me several times.
We're all run down & tired about now. I just took our Aussie kids to the airport & I need a nap! The bed linens, towels & dishes can just sit there & wait for me.

Take it easy, Hon & DRINK to your health!!

fondly,
Rett

Oh, I am sorry you are not feeling well again. No, we are not yet getting back to less chaos but that is almost impossible when all the little ones are still here. A few more days and the NY kids will be heading back north. I am already getting antsy about packing away the Christmas decorations but I'll hold out until New Years day.

So nice stopping by to visit with you!

Kindly, ldh

I'm so sorry you all have colds, Ceekay, and I pray you are better soon.

I am completely exhausted. We overdid. I am happy, but TIRED. And I'm taking a break for a while. Glad you had a great Christmas, too.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Ceekay, I'm glad you had a merry Christmas, we did too. Yesterday and today both have been pretty quite...nice after all the excitement. I've been reading, stitching and just enjoying the season. Tomorrow DD and I are going to the movies and lunch. Take care, stay warm and cozy and feel better soon...hugs, Linda

Yes, it is fun and I have to suspend my desire for order and cleanliness as it is just impossible while cooking, eating and opening gifts. I'm alone today for the first time in several days and I am loving it. Hope your cold is a short one and that your strength returns with vigor. You're on my prayer list.
