Yesterday evening was such a wonderful time. I wrapped presents, listened to Manheim, wrote Christmas cards....love it. When my hubs and I went to bed, we snuggled under the extra blanket and I cuddled up and said, "Honey, tell me a Christmas story." Waiting for him to say something of memories past...I hear him tell me.....
L goes to Mall for Ceekay's Christmas present....THE END!Gotta love him!

Oh CeeKay...
Good Morning Sweetie. I so love this story. Just like a hubby hu?
We want something romantic, they give us short and sweet.
How are you feeling sweetie? How are the treatments coming along? I think of you every day and pray that you are better. I hate cancer and everything about it. It has taken so many of my family members and when it hit my childrens generation with Amy, that really made me furious. I pray for a cure every day of my life.
Stop by soon sweetie. I so love to have your company. You are just a sweetcake for sure. You make my day sweeter every time I visit with you. Thank you CeeKay.
Have a beautiful day. Country hugs and so much love, Sherry
OH MY GOODNESS! My Mom had these little nativity's!!!! two of them! But I know they were sold or GoodWilled. How sad that we did that! Now I'm sad.
Now, back to your day yesterday! HOLY COW! What is it with medical personnel sometimes. You know when there is something wrong, and they just don't listen? Makes me crazy!
I am so sorry you had to go through that - but am glad you are all better. Your poor husband. That must've scared the *#*@*!*@* out of him!
Your tree is so pretty! You did good!!!!
Loved the Christmas story! ;)
I wish I could give you a hug . . .
Sounds just like a conversation that would happen at our house!
What a perfect ending to a happy evening....your DH is very special.
I have a little nativity ornament very much like yours...we bought ours the first year we were married, 1962. I love mine...hope today is a good one for you. hugs, Linda
LOL. What a fun way to end the evening:)

Blessings to you today Ceekay. I love this and the last post as well. Just wish I could give you a big hug cause girl, you're so courageous, a hero in my book. Wish my own sis had met someone just like you when she battled Ovarian. You are touching many lives and the Lord delights in you.
Hugs, Noreen
Sounds like you're still feeling well. Wonder what he's getting you.

Funny, funny!! Sounds just like your dear hubby. I can hear him saying it!
LOL, sounds like my kind of story... short, sweet and straight to the point!
LOL I loved that story CeeKay. Your blog is just beautiful. So Christmasy. I hope you are feeling well and enjoying this beautiful Advent season of ours.
Hi Ceekay, isn't that just like a man? Short, sweet and to the point. At least you got the snuggle underneath the extra blanket and that's priceless. I hope this finds you feeling better today darling. Hugs ~lynne~
Oh Ceekay, this is just the cutest. Doesn't that just sound like a man. Well, at least he isn't waiting until Christmas Eve. Guys just crack me up. Hope you are feeling ok. Hugs, Marty
Hi Ceekay
Just visiting to see how you're doing. Your treatment didn't go very well but glad to hear you are feeling better now.
My husband used to shop Christmas Eve - what was he thinking? Now, like your husband he does a trip to the mall earlier and that's it -never goes back the rest of the year.
I am laughing! What a great Christmas story full of l♥ve and truth. The end
I sure hope you are doing alright and I am glad you family will be home for Christmas. I think about you and wish you the best. I am with Sherry...I hate cancer and pray soon there will be a cure for all types. My bil had surgery on his femur bone yesterday where his renal lung cancer spread last.
May this new year be a miracle year for you!
Much love to you, who gets to see the sun! Trade ya...?
~♥
Sounds like a wonderful day and ending with a funny story. Perfect!
Ha, well that just means you got some extra sleep right?
Valerie
Oh what a cute story! A husband who has a sense of humor when it's time to go to sleep is a wonderful thing to have - you'd better keep him! I know you won't be surprised, but I have that exact same little plastic nativity somewhere, and it is usually on my vintage tree, but I haven't come across it yet this year (wonder why-too many decorations to go through)! laurie
How sweet!
I just read your post about your treatment..how awful..hope you are feeling better...prayers for you!
Hi CeeKay, that is a precious little nativity you have there...very sweet.
Sorry to hear of your bad ordeal the other day with the IV...I saw my brother go through that, and it broke my heart. I am glad you're feeling better. Keeping you in my prayers.
God bless you.
Mary
Len... the storyteller. Great job, there L!! Leave it to a guy.
Glad you got to get things done.
I think I'm going to ask my hubby the same thing...just to see what he says. ;-)
Ya know, I should have come to you in the beginning of my frantic search for a square coaster. I'm going to Pier One this weekend to hopefully find one...I just need ONE. Thank you!
LOL! Oh, Ceekay... you are a riot! And that man deserves a big hug. Can't wait to see what he got you!!!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Dear CK...This isn't about your story (although it was hysterical and I was on the floor).
It is about the Manger Scene.
I haven't seen one like that in years. My Momma use to have two...not sure where they ended up but I'd forgotten all about them until I saw yours.
It made me smile BIG!
Hope this is a good, no GREAT day.
Love, Rebecca
LOL!!!!!! I am laughing so hard!
