Edited...Christmas Mosaic and other things!

Mosaic Monday at Mary's is so much fun. We get to play with our photos. I finally finished tweaking the buffet with all my nativities. So I thought I would show it one more time. If you look on the background picture to the right bottom you will see the itty bitty cloche. That has a ultra mini pewter nativity scene in it...as shown on the left bottom picture. The framed nativiy is from YEARS ago, but I chose to hang it on the closet door in the Living Room. Next year I think I may paint the frame, but since I had all the others in that room, I thought it should be there also.

My dear friend Kathy send me a Christmas box FULL of Christmas joy. But one of my favorites was this precious set of notecards. I mean, it wasn't but minutes later I had one of them framed. I just love it!

This is the centerpiece in the living room on the coffee table. I just take a Walmart green plain wreath and put matching "stuff" from the tree. The candle is the middle is a 3 wick. That gorgeous wire bow, I bought in Michigan last year when I visited Kathy.

This chest sits on top of my half round curio. It was a gift from my choir leader at church his last year directing. It is precious to me as choir was a big part of my life for many years! Thanks Ric and Sally.

I am ready for Christmas. All I need to do is get stamps and candy for the candy jars. Other than that....done! I can now sit back and watch the Christmas specials, and all my favorite Christmas storys....It's a Wonderful Life, Meet me in St. Louis and of course, The Christmas Carol - the OLD version!!
I will be in the good ole chemo chair Monday. Will get my results from my scan that day also, so if you would, say a prayer for good results. That would be the best Christmas present anyone could give.
I am enjoying all the showing of decorations. Wow, you ladies are talented. It is like a daily dose of new magazines!

Added Monday afternoon: Well the chemo chair did not happen. The current treatment is not working, so on to Plan ?!? ...not sure anymore. But nothing till after Christmas Yeah!!!!!
I decided to start a new blog in journal format regarding this whole cancer treatment stuff and leave my Home blog for that. You will find the info right under my Blog header if you would like to visit it.

Beautiful post, Ceekay. It's a good feeling to have the decorating all done. I'm just about there. Still tweaking a few little things myself. The mini pewter nativity is precious. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily, and I pray Monday goes well. I hate that you have to have a treatment this close to the holidays. Hugs and best wishes ~ Sarah

Love your mosaic of nativities, C. Didn't you buy the tiny pewter one at an antique store in Michigan the last time you were here? I love nativities. I'm glad you like the cards. I'll have to send you some others. I have a basket full of packs left after I stopped selling them.

If I don't talk to you tomorrow, I will on Monday. You know I'm praying like crazy!

Hi Ceekay! Your collection of nativities is wonderful! We just have one and it belonged to my MIL, who passed away in 1979. . . it was old then...so it's REALLY old, now! :)

Love how you made the Walmart candle ring/wreath look like a work of art!

I'm no where near ready for Christmas...but I just keep plugging away!

Morning, Ceekay! I love your nativities under the cloches! Your home is looking so beautiful! Oh, you have a cuckoo clock like mine? I love it! Our little people in it are supposed to spin and dance and a song plays, but that part needs to see the clock doctor!
Thanks for popping in to see me and I hope you're feeling good after your treatment.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Praying for you my friend, all your decorations are beautiful. You have taken the time to put those special touches on everything. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I was without power for two days last week. So of course no blogging, no food in the house, I'm just now getting back to my regular routine. Yes the harp is real and no I don't play. And I have no ideal why I even have it other than I thought it was the most beautiful thing, and no one I knew had one. I just love having odd things, DH says thats why I keep him. Come back and visit soon. I enjoyed talking to you.
