Scrabble Anyone?

I will never forget
Photo by GeekPhilosopher Free Stock Photo

I love Scrabble. Ro and her hubby and my hubby and I play when we get together, and it is always so much fun...well, fun with Ro's hubby, challenging with mine! We have even kept score sheets of score record games!
So how about a game??

I wanted to spell comments...but that wasn't working...and there was no Y.
Why??

Cuz this scrabble game is 3 " big!

Complete with drawer for bag of letters!

It is so cute!

Just like the full size one with the points!

Place to put your extra letters...

While we are at it...see the little ruler??

Mine since elementary school....

Price tag still on it....and what drives my husband crazy...I remember when I bought it! Too bad I can't remember what I was wearing, cuz I usually do that too!

My son meeting Bentley boy....
Don't forget the other Show and Tell's at Kelli's today...and

Have a great weekend!

You forgot to say, "HANDSOME son meets ADORABLE dog!!". I'm the same way - I have so many things from my childhood that I remember every detail. Love the little scrabble game. Sally

We have a little travel Scrabble that the kids bought us years ago and keep it in the camper. I beat Jack 3 outta 4 times last weekend in the wilds of Idaho camping, sugar!!! Hah, that'll teach him to mess with me and drag me off camping.....

Cute post, ceekay. We haven't played scrabble in a long time. Will have to remember that, when the snow flies. That seems to be game playing time for us.

I love Scrabble, it's about the only board game anyone can get me to play. Hated it when I was a kid, finally learned to spell somewhat better in my 30's and now feel pretty comfortable with it! My folks would play with my grandparents every time we visited them in Colorado. It's so tiny, too cute!

I cracked up when you said something about usually remembering what you were wearing. I do that too. Hubby actually said that tonight when we were at a meeting...I told him something and he smarted off about whether or not I remembered what I was wearing.

Such a cute little Scrabble board!

Isn't the weirdest of thing to remeber what we were wearing at a percise time? I usually do too, and I can remember what I had to eat if I was in a restaurant!

I love scrabble! [our game board is ancient] And I certainly must say this show n tell is so darned unique!!! Great. The way you spelled out the message...no worries, the blank served well as a "Y". Oh and our game is two in one! When my dad passed away, I took HIS scrabble game and added the letter tiles to ours...we have a game that'll last for hours!!

My show n tell is posted if you'd like to stop by today...it's my dining room centerpiece I made for Autumn! [with mouseover captions]

The ovarian cancer logo got my attention. My mom passed away from ovarian cancer and the cause is very near to my heart. Thanks for the reminder. I have also made a link at my site in hopes to remind women to be very aware of the cancer that whispers.

Oh, and I enjoyed your show and tell also :)

You kept a ruler from 3rd grade? I'll bet moving time is just outrageous for you - isn't it? I couldn't even tell you IF I had a ruler in 3rd grade...best I can do is tell Mrs. Wolohan was my teacher! Outside of that...forget it - 'cause I SURE did!

Rich looks cute with Bentley. So why hasn't this good looking guy found a good match yet?

...and where did you find the mini Scrabble game? (I'm sure you'll remember) Mom and I could not play that set - our eyes would go crazy. I could use a set 2x bigger than the regular one!

Cool pics.

love ya,
