Meeting a Blogging Friend! and Show and Tell

I had the best time Friday when I had lunch with the beautiful Laura from Decor to Adore. We met at our local Mimi's, however, it was really hard to eat lunch as we both wanted to just talk! And we did that very well! Laura is so beautiful and tender hearted. Laura brought me the sweetest gift. I thought I would show my precious gifts for Show and Tell at Kelli's. In the sweetest wrapped box was a delicate vintage embroidered doilie, a sweet little note pack that Laura made, some tiny vintage flowers and some yummy candies!

If any of you get the chance to meet another blogger, take the opportunity! It is so much fun to put a REAL person with that blog! And trust me, you won't have a moment of silence either!
After our wonderful lunch I stopped at HomeGoods. NO wire cloche. I am still looking!! However, I have hit the jackpot this past week and have so many things to tell you about. Do you ever feel like that? How do I get it all in? Well, next week is a comin'! Have a wonderful weekend with your loved ones....

Ceekay, what a great time and such a lovely gift. I can hardly wait until we have lunch. As for the wire cloche, run don't walk to TJMaxx they have some really cute chicken wire cloche lanterns with a little bird on top for $16.99. I just had to have one today, I couldn't pass it by. I got mine at the Arrowhead store. Hope you find one. Hugs, Marty

If you ask me....meeting online friends for the first time is just something I would never have dreamed of 10 years ago...but it's priceless, isn't it?

Great, wonderful gifts of friendship.

My Show and Tell is now posted. Won't you pop over for a chat and a spot of tea?

Meeting blog friends is wonderful. I've been blessed to meet 8 so far. You are so right about the "talking".....it truly is non-stop. Because we share so much of ourselves on our blogs when we finally meet we do feel like it's been a forever friendship.

So happy that you 2 got to meet and then share it with us on S&T.

I also know what you mean about so much to blog about and tell....and then there are those times when we have nothing to say!!!

Hello sweet friend...

I met one of my sweetest and most dearest friends because of eBAY! She'd been a buyer of mine for a few years and last year when we made a trip back to my homeland (California) I met her for the first time in person. I always think it is FUNNY and WONDERFUL how God took me BACK to the place of my birth (I live in Oklahoma now) to meet someone that for years lived only 20 miles from me....

Isn't life grand? You look so happy!

Ceekay, how fun to meet another fellow blogger. I know you had a great time from talking to you. I so agree with you about not shopping for a month, but is GW really called shopping? I think that is just stealing. We won't tell if I cheat. I stopped by yesterday, but not much. I think they had just had one of their 1/2 off days. I sure hope they have great things when we go. We don't have a Home Goods! I have met two bloggers. One I talk to on the phone almost daily. We found we are the same age, and have the same sense of humor. Well, you know how that goes! How sweet she was with her gift!

What a fun day for you. I bet the two of you didn't have a hard time talking even though you had just met in person. It is wonderful how we can feel such friendship with other bloggers. It is so nice that you got to meet each other.

The gifts were lovely. I am sure you will always remember your special day.

Hi CeeKay!! How terrific that you met Laura!! You are so correct about how wonderful it is to put the REAL person with their blog--I felt that way after meeting Jeanne of Backyard Neighbor last month.

I so enjoyed your post on Prescott! The summer we visited The Grand Canyon and also visited Jerome, we drove CLOSE to Prescott at some point. I remember the name, cause a fellow my husband used to go to school with moved there from Phoenix....anyway I had no idea it had such cool sights or I would have grabbed the wheel and directed our car into town!!

I hope you've had a great Sat--and an even better Sunday!! L, Dana

PS I also LOVE your "tea" tea set!!

Oh Ceekay! Wasn't that the most fun?

I was cleaning earlier this week and rediscovered two free coffee and desert certificates that I have for Mimi's so we will have to do that soon.

I will be blogging about you next week some time. :)
