A Rosey Tablescape Thursday

How it got to be Thursday already is beyond me....but that's ok because it is Tablescape Thursday at Susan's.
I really do have the most giving husband. We ran to Homegoods a while back and he saw these rose cups on clearance. No doing, I had to have them. Now, seriously, I told him, I don't need them. But he wanted me to have them. So of course, then the search was on. I needed plates. Well, we found the exact solid colors at Ross. The clear salad dish was an Estate sale find last year.

Each place setting is a different color, red, green, orange, and blue.

Husband found the little spreaders at Stein Mart...now they I needed!!
I want so bad to find glass salt and peppers with gold lids...but I can't find any. I chose to use some of my salts instead.

Just good lace bordered white napkins in my good ole Dollar Tree glasses!
The plates sort of have a swirl in them. Used my gold flatware as the cups have gold rims.

I got this water pitcher at a garage sale years ago!

My sweet little glass basket...then I remembered I had a tiny pitcher. I think they are cute together.

QVC centerpiece.

A lace tablecloth with flowers seems to fit!
Everyone enjoy Tablescape Thursday....I know I will!!!

Ceekay...I forgot to tell you....to make your pics larger...when you are in the posting mode of your dashboard after you have downloaded your pics...click on edit html..you will see for each pic...width than a number and than length and a number....DELETE the numbers you see. NOW....right below that...you will see a number in () ...S400..change it too S640...and you are set...now I know at first this may seem confusing...it is not..you will get the hang of it...it is just that in html there are a bunch of codes and it is hard to pick out the width and numbers..PLEASE let me know if you need more directions..I hope i was not confusing. xoxo, cherry

I am really learning how to set a pretty table from you more experienced gals! I love your idea of different colors. I haven't gotten that comfortable with this yet to stretch my imagination that far. I'll look for those glass salt and pepper shakers with the gold on my outings! Here I've been spending all my time digging in the dirt. Who knew arranging a table could be so fun!

Hi Ceekay,

Very pretty tablescape! I'm glad you were able to match plates to your cups~sometimes you can search forever and find everything BUT! The other day I was looking for plain old glass S & P shakers. Everything BUT!! ;-) I love your glass pitcher and acessories, nothing looks classier and it always looks good by candlelight!

Thanks for your nice comments! I hope I see you again next week!

xoxo

Ceekay....I just saw your comment over on Valerie's site and I wanted to say how much it touched me. I'm so sorry you lost four babies but am thrilled to see you became a mom and are a grandma, too.

My prayers are with you as you fight your battle of cancer. I have a friend who fought this battle and won. God bless you and your table settings are GORGEOUS! Sounds like you have a wonderful relationship with your husband as well. Happy Mother's DAY!
