Yesterday, my son took my husband and I to the new Star Trek movie. Yes, I admit it. I am a Trekki! I am telling you, that movie is fantastic! Of course, if you like Star Trek. People were clapping and making the LL and P sign during the movie. They did a phenomonal job of casting the characters. We loved it so much, we are going back today to catch things we missed!
I had a wonderful Mother's day and can't wait to show pictures! But, I have a hubby waiting to leave to see a movie...so I will be back...oh, that's a different movie!!

How did we both end up trekkies? John and I want to go see it - but unfortunately, we're up to our eyeballs in working around the house and garden before the party!!
Kirk went to see it down at an IMAX in Cincinnati, and he thought it was fantastic.

You are a Trekki? You and my beloved son would be best friends! No kidding...he loves all that stuff and my hubbs does, too~even my daughter and her hubby love it...
I digress...I don't "get it!". I'm lost when it comes to the Movie/TV/Series as I've watched only a handful of shows. Except for "The Wrath of Kahn" I'm clueless when it comes to any of the story lines, etc. My family believes me to be a traitor (or Clingon...see...I know a little!)
However....there is hope for me. I promised my guy I'd tote along with him this weekend as he takes in the flick!

I want to see that, I can remember watching it as a family all the time as a kid. My husband and Steve went and saw it down in Oklahoma and they really liked it. I'll probably have to wait until I get to Florida but I'm sure it will still be showing then.
